One of the worst branches . The ATM,s at this brach is nonoperational for a week and the branch people including branch manager do not have the basic decency of putting out of order sign at the ATM .

Horrifying experience with this bank. Four weeks not able to access our account and the sweet gentleman in the actual building says the same thing. Customer service never calls back and does not help.

They are so rude here! Every other paycheck my husband gets is a paper check and no other bank will cash HSBC checks without holding them for a few days. Even if we deposit it into our normal account it takes 1-5 days. So every now and again we need the money sooner and HAVE to go in here to cash it. It is always a lengthy horrible experience. They don’t greet you, you have greet them in order to get them to acknowledge that you’re standing there. They act so inconvenienced that they have to do their job. Even standing holding the paper check and 2 forms of photo ID they treat you like a thief and 3rd degree you. Once they finally decide to cash the check they toss your money at you like they are just too disgusted to accidentally touch you. It’s awful! It’s not just one employee either, it’s all of them! Would never step foot in this bank again if I didn’t have to. I suggest you avoid if you can .

Great service. Joyce (branch manager) was very helpful and resolved all my issues. I will definitely recommend to other people to visit this branch.

Worst bank ever. I opened an account funded the account and setup direct deposit. Paycheck was sent to the account and when I went to withdrawal some money was told my account was in the process of being closed. They wanted me to call some department who staed they will notify me of the reason. Mind you it is Christmas weekend and was not able to get any answers or my money.If I could rate no stars i would. I see why they are leaving retail banking in US

Worst banking experience I ever had. They charge maintenance fee monthly but later sold part of it’s retail banking business to 2 separate banks, closing their corresponding hsbc accounts without proper communication. Customer deserves better service. Will never go back here

I opened a checking account at HSBC Bellevue Branch not too long ago, but I have found even the most basic retail banking service inconvenient. Making simple deposits or ordering check books take multiple factors longer than other banks I have used: Wells Fargo in California, and First Tech in Bellevue.I allocated some time for me next week to close the account I have with HSBC. I'm thinking of going back to First Tech (First Tech has a great service and is very near the Microsoft/Amazon offices. The only reason I opened an account with HSBC was because they had a good promo. The fixed size promo cash bonus is definitely not worth the variable cost of how much time and energy they take away from you). If anyone else knows any good deals for checking accounts, let me know!

As a Jade member of this HSBC branch, I felt that I did not receive fair treatment. I opened an business account with them. However, when I tried to close the business account, i was told that I can not reward for the promption due to I did not put$5000 in the checking account. Asked branch manager, who told me that agent who opened the account did mention the promption to me with flyer. Since I did not ask for writing, there is no way to approve that. Come on, use the common sense, I have total $15,000 with check & saving combined, why agent did not suggest the client to put $5,000 in the checking and rest in saving to take an advantage this promption. It is total disloyal to the customer. I hate to say, I am thinking to withdraw all my funds from this bank! HSBC needs to train their managment team how to treat Jade memeber or any customer right!

Stay away. I think they run that shop by laws/ethics from some other country, not USA. I opened my account online at HSBC to get the promo $375 for holding $10k there for 6 months. When 8 months went by I went to the HSBC branch in Bellevue downtown to close my account. I held my end of the bargain, they held theirs, our transaction is done. After shaming me for some time and telling me "it was assumed that you keep the money at HSBC" they told me that the will not close the account for me. Since I opened it online, I should only close it online or over the phone. When I asked their manager to show me the part of customer agreement where it says that accounts, opened online, can only be closed online, they failed to do so. So I did go online and spoke to an agent over a chat. And the agent verified my account and said that it is just a regular account, that can be closed from any branch. I wonder if HSBC is running out of cash or something.
