Never again using H&R Block for our taxes. We filed last year and spent about $130.00 to file. Get to the front desk this year and are hit with a bill of $286.00.Was called by their office a couple days later to ask if we were satisfied with our appointment. Apparently, we could have been offered coupons, we should have been told how much it was going to be before we sat down, ect. None of which happened.NEVER AGAIN.

After another H&R Block location had incorrectly processed our 2022 taxes, called Bellevue office, and Jennifer Oh gracefully listened to our situation and offered to rectify the incorrect process followed by the other location.Jennifer provided a good understanding of the USA tax complex process and swiftly rectified our situation!Overall happy with the service, follow up and recommendations received by Jennifer

A a single-filer, no help was offered to help find deductions to the taxes. Only fees by HR weee added. No a good feeling when you're seeking help for a filing free write off.

$300 error on the prepaper's part that I caught. Had another major error that I caught in 2020 at this same location. They did not print out my full return, just the first page. They also made a follow up appointment for next year, without any approval or discussion. Found out when I got home. I would definitely not recommend going to this office. I have visited this location for more than 15 consecutive years, but I won't ever be back. Look elsewhere.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Horrible experience through and through.They ignore each and every claim they themselves make and print on their banners. I went to file my state tax return and they didn't let e-filed it as they wanted me to pay $195 for a simple Federal tax return which someone with 5+ years stay can do themselves. Kris Chayy, the employee, was as useless as an appendix who failed to help a customer with 4+ year history. There is a clause for transparent pricing- nothing was told, he didn't even bother asking if I am filing Federal or State. He failed to mention that he is a seasonal employee and won't be around when I come back with obvious problems in the return he prepared. And of course, he could not give any discount when the adjacent cubicle'e employee was giving it out to another late customer. Wow!When I called the office, a guy who can't understand/speak english was there- needless to say, ignorant, useless and rude. I really don't understand why someone with decades of US tax filing experience can't learn basic english in a country where primary language is English. Why are these people not trained in communication when they do customer-facing job. It was a frivolous experience and my return of $15k is hanging in a limbo that I can't figure out. Don't go to the Bellevue center because they hire "contract" workers who hide information and the permanent ones can't speak elementary level english. 0 to employees, 0 to the worthless manager who is unreachable.Oh, don't bother giving me your unreachable numbers- I will sue you if you try to pull another of your shady trick.

This was our second time using HR Block and things went smoothly. Your experience will rely almost entirely on the Tax Associate you get but both the associates I worked with were more personable and professional than hiring someone from a local firm.Kris Chhay was exceptional in his energy, presence and when he reached the limits of his knowledge, he was willing to double-check things with experts they have access to. He made the filing very transparent, asked good questions and just helped d*** things down whenever I was confused.BONUS: My experience uploading documents to the app, making payments and signing off on things was as seamless as it gets.

I had an appointment with a tax consultant at this location. He started my appointment 30 min late. And then he took ~10 min to take print out of my documents. He was also getting irritated when i asked questions and was rushing since his next appointment was running late. When i said i have more questions and if you are busy now can I come back later, he got super angry and said please don't come to me and gave all my documents back to me. Very frustrating experience and total time waste on a Friday evening.

Zero stars if possible. I got a confirmation text stating my Sunday @ 11am appointment was set. Printed and organized my docs, paid for a babysitter drove a fair amount and paid bridge toll only for the store to be locked and closed. The posted hours say 10-4pm on sundays. DO NOT go here

These people filed my taxes last year for about $300 charge to me. It’s been a whole year and no refund and IRS can’t locate my tax refund. I left a lot messages and no one has call me back ! If no one calls me back by the end of the week. I will be stopping by for a full refund ! It’s nasty how these professionals accountants are taking advance of the pandemic! Run away before filing your tax here !

My experience at this location was terrible. they canceled our appointment twice I showed up for my appointment and waited for 30 minutes to find out that they had canceled my appointment again without notifying me. no one was working at the front desk. The one employee working there had no idea what was going on...

These guys are cheaters. They charged me $220 for the $80 tax service listed on the website. I'm in the process of getting that refunded, but it will take a lot of my time and effort, no doubt. They let you book 8 am appointments but then don't honor that or randomly change your appointment time. Guy at the office says "we no have receptionist"... WTF do I care if you have a receptionist or not - your website has the appointment available. Happened twice - make 8 am appointment thru website only to find they've moved my time slot w/out contacting me or asking.
