I had a fantastic experience with Geena today! I have really long hair and wanted a cut that would keep it healthy. Geena listened carefully to my preferences and gave me a great cut that I absolutely love. She also shared valuable tips on how to better care for my hair. Highly recommend her!

I recently discovered Geena’s salon and I couldn't be more pleased! She is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to teach me about my hair and how to care for it. Her skills in cutting and coloring are top-notch; my hair has never looked better. Each time I visit her, my hair looks healthier and healthier. As a bonus, Geena’s been helping me learn more about my Korean roots. I rarely give reviews, but I highly recommend her services for anyone looking for a fantastic hair experience!

Geena is amazing! I’ve always dreaded going to the hair salon because I’ve never liked how my hair looks afterwards. To temporarily combat my hair’s frizziness and poor health, I was constantly flat ironing it and never spent time actually taking care of it.
I went to Geena originally for Japanese Thermal Straightening (JTS), which I’m so glad didn’t actually happen (Geena was very honest in telling me that my hair was too damaged and colored/bleached to do JTS). I came out of my first appointment with so much new knowledge and understanding of why my hair is the way it is and how it’s become so damaged. Geena taught me ways to care for my hair from how to shampoo/condition properly to restoring my hair cuticle health. As someone who has never been educated on hair care and maintenance, this opened up a brand new perspective for me.
Geena is not only a skilled and professional hair stylist, but she is also a great human being who genuinely cares about her clients and their hair health. I will be taking my hair care much more seriously moving forward and look forward to seeing her every time!

I had very damaged hair and the lower part of my hair had keratin and the top part was wavy. She didn’t only thought me about my hair and how to take care of it but did an amazing job on healing and giving much needed love to my hair. Definitely a regular client from now on

I have wavy, thick hair, and for so long I went to salons that would recommend I chemically straighten it, or try to reduce the thickness so it would be “easier to deal with”. It was such a relief finding Geena. Not only does she know how to cut curly hair, she’ll teach you how to maintain it, how to repair it, and teach you why your hair is the way it is. Her expertise is unmatched and I’m especially glad for her honesty with clients- she will listen to what you want and gives you her best advice based on her experience and knowledge. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my natural hair since going to her, and my hair has never felt healthier since all the times I dyed it years ago from other stylists.
She’s been so kind to me and to others I know who also see her. I come out of my appointments feeling great. No other hair stylist can compare!

Geena is the most amazing and skilled hairstylist! For me: I was not sure what I wanted for my hair color or style and I had a very itchy scalp before I came here. Geena was able to give me the best cut and color I’ve ever had and help set me up with such great shampoo and conditioner. I have not had an itchy scalp since and cannot believe how much she helped teach me how to better care for my hair. For my daughter (10 yr old): she had the opposite issue as me and had super thick full hair. We had no idea how to properly care for her hair before visiting Geena. My daughter LOVES coming with me, she has confidence and skills in how to care for her hair in between treatments, and loves getting treated for her haircuts. 100 percent recommend. To quote my daughter “hair used to be hard to brush but now is super fun!” We have appreciated learning about lifelong care of hair. Extra plus- super cute and comfy personal salon and covid conscious!

When I first went to Geena my hair was a mess. It was poofy, frizzy, dull, and just looked terrible. I was looking for advice and instructions and Geena delivered. She was very candid and extremely helpful and I've been completely satisfied after each appointment with the progress my hair is making. Geena has a great attitude and the conversation during the appointment is fun and engaging and she remembers the details of our interactions. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Geena has been the best hair cut/color consultant and hair dresser I've ever had. She taught me how to maintain my hair to keep it healthy and growing despite of the damage I've done over the years with foil and balayage. I now know what shampoo/conditioner to use and not use as well as hair mask to overcome environmental changes that is affecting the health of my hair from all the work travels I do. I highly recommend her for others that are looking for a qualified and credible hair dresser that cares about you and your hair. What I love the most is she knows how to cut hair (layering and framing)! It's not easy to find a hair dresser that can do this properly: trust me, I've gone through 4 hair dressers in Seattle.

Geena is a highly skilled hair stylist. My fine and curly hair was very damaged 6 months back when I first went to her. She assessed it well and was very honest about the care and work that I would need to put in to restore its quality. I appreciated the honest feedback. After I followed her instructions, I have noticed a dramatic improvement in the growth and texture of my hair. She emphasizes that hair care is a marathon and not a race. I highly recommend Geena for anyone who truly wants to work on improving their hair for the long term.

Geena is the only hair stylist I have been to that has been able to give me consistently great haircuts for my curly Indian hair. She has taught me to take better care of my hair and be regular with my haircuts — which I now am, largely because she does such a great job and I leave with lighter, bouncier curls each time.

Geena is the best hair stylist around Bellevue. I am so lucky to have found her. I have wavy hair that is really hard to mantain specially because of the frizz. Since I had a personalized haircut from Geena, now my hair effortlessly keeps volume and curls in a really pretty way without having to do anything. I have been a loyal customer of Geena for about four years, with some interruptions due to Covid and moving to Florida. During that time, I could not find any stylist who could match Geena’s skills and expertise. My hair suffered a lot of damage and I was desperate for a solution. Thankfully, Geena welcomed me back and worked her magic on my hair. She not only restored its health and beauty, but also taught me how to take care of it with the right products and techniques.
