I really enjoy this store, plenty of things to look at and fun gifts for folks that can be hard to buy for.
Unfortunately, this visit I felt a staff member following me around the store, almost creepily. After nearly bumping into her a few times, I finally asked if she worked there, which she agreed she did. Suggestion, if the store feels they need to "watch over" customers, then have staff wear name tags or make it clear to their customers......I almost walked out because of how I felt being watched so suspiciously.??

Be aware that they steal your money by double charging you!!! They said something about transaction didn’t go through and ran my card again and I found duplicate charges on my account!!! Plus the worst customer service.

The “dry stare” that another reviewer mentions must be the new hiring requirement. I walked in to ask about the return and exchange policy for a gift I’d just received and was met by a blank stare from the manager. She then proceeded to question me like I’d done something wrong.

Fireworks has always had this kind of "chip on their shoulder" vibe - which I have sensed for 25 years. In fact it makes me not shop there. But a few weeks ago, I needed a last-minute gift (see alderwood store review). Today, I walked in to do a return and an employee near the front of the store was against a display table on her phone. When we passed by she sheepishly put it away without even saying anything. Then arriving to the check out, we were met with a dry stare by yet another employee, busy busy busy, staring at the computer screen - it was the "what do you want?" kind of look. No words, no hello. Meanwhile, she began the return process and proceeded to ask for our name and phone number. And then it hit me. That kind of return policy says it all; the owner/management sees their employees as thieves; the employees feel abused and really don't want to work there; and they all hope customers will be distracted by the overpriced shiny objects and not even notice.

Poor customer service. My mom was buying a few items when the clock turned to 7 pm when they closed. I, of course, wanted to wait with my mom in the store (why not and what is the big deal), so I was looking at a few items while I waited. A worker approach me and told me they were closed and that I needed to leave. I responded that my mom (3 feet away from me) is checking out so I'm waiting for her. The worker has some power issues because she again told me I need to walk out the store. During this time my mom was still finishing up her transaction. It was an unreasonable request and is a big tell of this workers insecurities and as a result, her ego trip. I'm thankful I've never bought anything from this store and never plan on doing so. Now I just need to convince my mom to do the same. Don't buy from this overpriced store with poor customer service with workers who are possibly racists (I'm Hispanic). I shared this experience with another worker who responded kindly and said she'd share my concern with the manager. Let's hope the manager does something. I can see this store closing down if this kind of behavior doesn't stop.

This is a pretty cool store, it’s a great place to go if you need a gift <$100 and they have tons of cheaper options too. All kinds of neat stuff to browse around through so even if you don’t buy anything it’s a fun experience and worth stopping by.

Such a beautiful shop to find lovely presents! Such a purely place to finish the process of getting a present ! No wrapping paper even though the window decorations show wrapping paper and gift bags. There seems to be a wrapping station that’s not being used. Quite unfortunate…

No, they do not have Seahawks ornaments, despite the staff answering the phone saying yes they do and me driving 20 miles. They do not.
