This insurance company sucks. A simple EFT billing update has taken WEEKS because of incorrect information and incorrect forms given and sent by the company. Other carriers handle EFT changes strictly on-line. Farmers requires you to fill out a form, wet-sign it, and send it back in the mail. What is this, 1993? Of course they tell you that you can fill in the .pdf electronically and email it back (exposing your sensitive financial data via an unencrypted message), but then they reject your form and make you re-do it and mail it to them.

This company has the worst customer service. We have been paying for years my wife's life insurance and haven't received any copy of her insurance policy. When we requested it, we were told by our agent (Lucas Hathaway) that we cannot get a copy of the policy anymore because its been more than 2 years and nobody can help us. This is the kind of insurance company you will be dealing with.

Terrible customer service. I would never recommend this company. They tell you one thing and then another. It took years to get them to make the smallest changes. Disappointed in all aspects.

Great company and not just for insurance. I have a lifelong annuity thru farmers and love them. Used to have to go out to mercer Island to get my checks, love that I can get them in bellevue now. Have never to date had a hard time or any problems with them and I have had the pleasure of doing business with them for 24 years now, almost 25 and will continue to as long as A) I'm alive. B) They're in business...Farmers for life cause they keep it simple and nice!!! Thank You Farmers, for improving my quality of life and making things so simple in a not so simple world!!!!!!Joey Anderson...

They are very rude. Talked to 3 different people and had to explain my situation everytime after I was told that they would write it in their notes. They are very unprofessional and unreliable. They need to work on their communication skills. The agent Alice Alvey in Palestine is also unprofessional and unreliable as well. They don't even deserve a star. I don't even want to give them a star. I'm very disappointed in this company.

They have a nightmare of phone call handling system and when you finally get to the wrong agent (3 of them) the majority are rude or lying.
I could not find my FNWL insurance policy for my daughter but I knew the bill was due and late. So I call them without a policy number and I get transferred to several departments, wait in the queue then get hung up on. No one would or could help me and no customer should be treated this way. I'm going to look into cashing out all of my policies and letting everyone I know about my experience with Farmers. Side note, I was a Farmers home, auto and life customers for over 30 years. When my agent retired, my new agent and the new Farmers policy changes caused me to switch to Allstate within 18 months. And Allstate has been doing a great job so far. Also, I would like to remind FNWL that it's my money and I hope my consumers realize that buying something that it's their money, don't accept poor quality or bad service.
