We purchased this van all through email and via communication with Alexander since we are from Oregon. We have now had our Hiace camper van for almost 1 year and it’s been amazing with minimal issues (normal stuff for a 1996 model). Alexander went above and beyond helping us. He sent pictures answered all of our questions and communicated with our lender to help get our loan processed as smoothly as possible. Would recommend his vehicles to anyone wanting a unique import.

Alex at Elis Motors is great to work with. I flew out from Colorado to look at a Delica camper that I ended up purchasing from him. He arranged for a pre-purchase inspection to be done before I flew out, picked me up from the airport, let me stay in the camper prior to purchase to avoid getting a hotel for the night, drove to the top of snoqualmie pass with me for a test drive, and even recommended a better route home than I was planning to drive.A couple things stood out in dealing with Alex. First, he has a business partner in Japan who finds and inspects the vehicles that they import, whereas many importers are strictly going through auctions. He has a large inventory of JDM campers, which is rare. He is willing to find and import specific vehicles if requested, which not every importer is willing to do. And finally, he is a genuinely nice guy to deal with.Highly recommend Elis motors.

Bought 1995 Nissan Datsun for 7500 original price was 9500 immediately after purchase the left window would not roll up and was super loud on the freeway I did not know this because I only could test drive it in the parking lot. License plate fell off on drive home. The ventilation selector knob does does not work. Told me the radio works good and does not even display when turned on. Dishonest seller would not recommend.

Poorly-run business. 15 minutes before a scheduled showing and they notified me they were unaware the vehicle was already sold. I asked about another vehicle they had listed as available in their inventory, but that was already sold too. If they aren't professional enough to take the time to remove sold vehicles from *their own* website inventory, then you are best to take your business elsewhere.

I went looking for a JDM van with a pretty firm idea of what I wanted. Once there I was able to drive all of my top contenders which helped me in deciding. Price was right and the paperwork was quick. I would definitely use Elis Motors for purchasing another import vehicle.
