When ringing out they couldn’t open the cash drawer and the lead pharmacist/technician(?) on duty kept saying they don’t accept cash, which doesn’t really make sense for a pharmacy? They were able to take my money and give change after some time. But it wasn’t necessary for the lead to be harassing the technician ringing me out to “never take cash” and “only take exact amount.” That doesn’t make sense and isn’t fair to patients who for whatever reason do not have access or are unable to own a payment card of any kind.

This is branded as a CVS but not actually a CVS, e.g., they don't take CVS gift cards! Their staff isn't what I'd call polite.

One person was working, which I understand butthe pharmacist didn't bother to acknowledge us for 20+ min. We were dropping off a prescription. I did see she was busy but didn't manage to say she would be with us as soon as she was available. Not a great first experience. Will likely not coming back.

We had to make a flu shot appointment two weeks ahead because there was no opening sooner. On the day we arrived on time, but this place was closed and no staff was there with absolutely no notification! Someone who also was waiting there wasted 45 minutes before realized that this place was abruptly closed! This is totally unacceptable! I'll not do any kind of businesses here, even free flu shots!

Pharmacist was rude, demeaning, and argumentative, didn't have my prescription ready on time. Refused to fill a vacation exemption prescription my doctor and another pharmacist said was possible. Told me a two hour wait. They don't answer the phone. You will be on hold forever.

I am stunned by this pharmacy. I had my flu shot here in 2021. That was fine. I interacted with a pharmacist another time who was quite present, engaged, and helpful. But I was stunned by what happened the last week.I was scheduled for my flu shot. But there was a misunderstanding about my insurance not paying for the flu shot this year. I was surprised because flu shots are preventative care. It took some time but I got insurance on the phone; insurance and the pharmacist straightened it out.As I waited someone else received a flu shot and covid vaccine. At my turn, I just received the flu shot. Based on my future reaction, this situation is important. The next day I reacted horribly to the injection I received with over 101 temperature. I completely taken off guard because I never react to flu shots. And then it dawned on me that this is more like a reaction for me to a covid vaccine. Did they give me the wrong injection?I called the pharmacy and spoke to a pharmacist who clearly couldn’t give me the time of day or try to be helpful. His treatment of me alone was reason enough to never go back to that pharmacy. He did tell me to call a 1-800 number for CVS. They can escalate and watch recordings of cameras to see what injection I was given. The woman on the phone (Customer Service) was wonderful. Yes, they can have the District Manager review the cameras and then call me. This would happen within 48 hours, probably sooner because this is a serious situation.I never received a call. After three days, I called back and again the woman who helped me in Customer Service was wonderful. The case, I was stunned to learn, was closed. What? Yes, the District Manager wrote that their records and cameras confirmed that I received the flu shot. And then she closed the case. How, I asked, was I to learn this information besides calling them back, like I did?Customer Service reopened the case, marked it as urgent, and requested that I be called within 24 hours. That call never came.I am simply stunned that a District Manager of a pharmacy would think that it is appropriate to NOT interact with a customer when there was suspicion of an incorrect injection or at the very least a severe reaction. They have lost a customer. I am disgusted by CVS pharmacies and this one in particular.

This is by far the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. I don't have a problem with the length of the line as it's never very long when I go, but I agree with other reviewers on how the pharmacist treats it's customers, really bad. Twice now my prescription has been late. I requested a refill more than a week ago, and it is not ready yet. Another time, I received a text to pick up the prescription, only to find out they didn't have the brand name that my doctor requested for me. So, I had to wait OVER a month for this prescription. This is absolutely unacceptable. Also, I sometimes get requests to pick up my prescription too far in advance, and when I told that to the pharmacist he interrupted me and said you should be finished with the prescription. I still had 15 days left of it. This pharmacy is super unorganized, needs more employees, and a new pharmacist. Once I switch healthcare providers, I am transferring my prescription elsewhere.

First, I want to make it clear that this complaint is not a reflection upon Target of Bellevue, Washington. This complaint deals directly with CVS and their Lead Pharmacist on duty on 8/14/2022. I just had one of the worst experiences in dealing with the Lead Pharmacist (I will update to include their name when I am done finishing formal complaint with CVS Pharmacy) located at 272 116th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98004 (located at CVS Pharmacy) on Sunday, August 14th, 2022.I received a text a half an hour before the store was to close that my medication which I needed to be able to begin titrating off other medication was ready for pick-up. I had already been feeling ill from the effects of switching medications and CVS being delayed in filling my medication for me. My partner and I immediately drove to location, which is a 12 minute drive away, and we we're going to be arriving, just as the pharmacy was to close for the day. As such, we got on the phone with the pharmacist about 10 minutes before closure to explain the situation, that we had to pick up these medications, as without them, I could become very ill, that we were on our way, and asked if they could release the medicine, because we were in the parking garage. The pharmacist was condescending and rude, and told us "we knew that the pharmacy closed at 5:00 pm", and that we had to arrive at or before that time to pick up the medicine.I physically ran from the parking garage, up into Target, and to the back of the store to CVS just at 5:00pm, just as the pharmacy was to close, and as I was running towards the back, they were making the final announcement that the pharmacy was closing. As I was running, to the back of the store, the pharmacist shut the gate just before I could reach the counter. I became very upset, and a very patient and kind Store Manager (named Katie) attempted to knock on the pharmacy door, and to text the pharmacist by phone to get them to open up and get me my medicine.Within a couple minutes, my partner was in the store, and then contacted the main CVS line to explain the situation, and try to get the medications sent over to another pharmacy. However, the other CVS pharmacy did not have the medications that I needed wouldn't happen available for a couple days. The Target Store Manager and I discussed the situation, and she said that I was in the building in time, as I was running through the store (which did not go unnoticed), also said it was completely unacceptable, and said that she really wish she could help me, but there was nothing that she could do because she didn't have access to the pharmacy and the pharmacist was not answering her calls. I told her that I understood that CVS is within Target, and that we love Target, and have nothing against them whatsoever. I also explained that as a clinician myself, I realize that medical professionals, especially pharmacists, are very overwhelmed at the moment, but his behavior was completely unacceptable and cruel. The Target store manager also said that they would get us in touch with the Target District Manager, as well as the liaison with CVS to file a complaint, and would get us the name of the Lead Pharmacist, so we could file an official professional complaint against them, as this was completely under their discretion, and that he could have waited for me, if he's so chose. They also stated that this was not the first time that they had treated someone this way, and that she wanted us to follow up with a formal complaint against them. At the end of her apology, which was obviously very sincere, she gave us a $20 Target gift card. This will be my last time ever using CVS for my prescriptions, because I have never been treated this poorly in my past 25+ years of having my prescriptions through CVS Pharmacy.* I will update this review as we are put in contact with responsible folks to help us with a formal complaint against the Lead Pharmacist at Bellevue CVS Pharmacy.

Cannot get someone on the phone, someone would pick up to quickly say please hold and never come back to you… saw others had similar experiences. Always an incredibly long wait in store too, hire more people???

Worst pharmacy chain. Chronically understaffed. The only reason they stay in business is United Health forces you to use them. Terrible terrible insurance combined with poorly run pharmacy. What could go wrong?

Just had the worst interaction with the older male pharmacist, who had a horrible attitude and did not seem to want to help in any way. He did not make me feel comfortable and I was there for an appointment booster shot and decided not to get the shot from him because he did not exhibit any care in his attitude or demeanor. I will never go back to this pharmacy.

The pharmacy is obviously understaffed but the pharmacist who appears to be often working alone is extremely patient and thorough. You can just tell he is absolutely overworked but he keeps his cool and professionalism. Give him a raise!

About a month ago I ordered over the website an acne treatment gel, but it got canceled after a few minutes. I was charged for it, and still haven’t received any refund. After that I went the store in order to pick up another gel (luckily it wasn’t canceled). The staff was very slow and the woman working there even couldn’t find the order at first, so she had to call other staff... I hoped to get get help from someone about the issue that I got with the cancelled purchase, but a guy working there just told me to wait for a few more business days. They steal money and that’s all I can say. This store is just horrible.

I never do reviews. But this location cancelled my appointment for a Booster shot 15 minutes before my appointment that had been scheduled for a week. While I was stuck in traffic on the way to the appointment. No notice, nobody picks up the phone. Do better.
