The friendly staff were helpful and thorough as they checked up my cat today. They listened closely to the concerns and behaviors I’d noticed, were cheerful and calming to disarm any nervousness, and were very detailed in explaining his health to me. I came in for a regular cat check-up and definitely recommend you do too if your pet needs one.

Vet was scared of my cat and could not do anything except weight her. Got charged 90$ for this “health checkup” that consisted of weighing the cat.
I’ve never seen a vet not able to examine my cat. First time for everything. Last time at this clinic

As a chicken parent, I cannot describe how happy I am with Dr. Bruce and his team. We went to another vet before, but unfortunately, they couldn't save my chicken who had cancer. I understand that it was not curable, but it was heartbreaking to see our pet suffer from pain. Unfortunately, her fellow chicken got cancer as well, but this time we went to Dr. Bruce's office, and his medicine helped a lot!

Dr. Jen is an angel. We take our two dogs and one kitty here. They are always treated so kindly which is especially important to us because one of our dogs gets so nervous at the vet from past experiences, but Dr. Jen is so patient and understanding, and so so so knowledgable. They do a great job addressing concerns and really do care about the animal's well being. We even had to say goodbye to one of furry best friends here and I will never forget their support and compassion through the process. Don't bother looking anywhere else. Their prices are reasonable and the level of care is outstanding. I hope this place stays in business for the rest of time. Thank you everyone at Crossroads Vet, keep up the good work!

Cathy is over 9 years old, and was born with respiratory problems, which also affects her sinuses and vision. Dr. Singbeil has helped relieve the swelling and her ability to eat. Here she is after a sinus rinse

While ultimately we have been under some unfortunate circumstances with my hen Pearlie having been diagnosed with cancer—I am so thankful to have found Dr Bruce. I care very deeply for my girl and it was incredibly comforting to have found someone who is experienced and knowledgeable about chicken health. The clinic staff has always been helpful and communicative. I know that I can call them anytime and get a timely response. They are also much more affordable than many avian specialists in the surrounding area.
Other than her diagnosis, we have had nothing but good experiences with them and I am very happy to now have them as my trusted clinic.
If you have chickens — or ducks—I myself was referred by another chicken friend, I have referred friends myself and I know of others that now have entrusted Dr Bruce with their sweet girls. Chicken parents—Highly recommend!

The doctor seems does not know anything about my bunny. she can not answer any questions. We went to another Vet at Bothell, it is much much better!! Another time we bring bunny to cut the nails, they only cut front feet. If they can not offer care, don't lie!!!!

Only complaints are that Dr. Bruce Singbeil doesn't charge enough, and he doesn't toot his own horn enough. We have been taking chickens to him for years. His diagnoses are robust and accurate every time. He is a longtime expert on chickens and did extensive research at UW demonstrating how to reduce tumor formation in chickens based on light levels, but I didn't know it until he happened to bring it up. Hey, do some bragging on your website, Doc! That's some amazing work! Also, I never feel like I'm being rushed.
Staff are all wonderful. The whole experience is fantastic through and through.

Crossroads Vet was highly recommended to me,when I moved here 2 years ago. I have 2 dogs, (one is senior). They contacted my previous vet for records I didn't have, which was a great help,as the previous vet wouldn't help in that way. Charlie and Jazzy have gotten the best treatment a pet mom could ask for. Dr. Jenn is fantastic. She is, friendly, listens to concerns, and thoroughly explains the next course of action. The staff is attentive and friendly, as well. About a month ago, the family adopted Carrie, dog #3. Dr. Jenn put our minds at ease after her exam. She is up to date on shots now, and ready to be a loving addition to the family. Thank you Crossroads Vet. You are fantastic!!!

Don't take your avian friend to them. The dr diagnosed without even touching her. After prompting he did a little bit and changed his advise. Clearly was not interested in helping. Told me prognosis not good. Saw a board certified exotic vet and now we have answers and a way to help her. They acted like they just didn't care. Never seen such lack of professionalism in a vet

I'm writing this review 2 months after the passing of my beloved Syrian hamster Marcel - who lived to be 3 years (100 hamster years) old. I saw some recent reviews and would like to call out this business for the treatment of Marcel. Hamsters are different from other animals, as they don't go to the vet regularly unless there is something wrong. Traveling + driving to the vet causes considerable distress - as hamsters follow crepuscular/nocturnal schedules and sleep in their burrows during the day. Around May 2023, I noticed Marcel was walking with a slight limp on his leg. I thought at first it was a broken limb - and called Crossroads vet to schedule an appt. (it was the closest option) and suspected Marcel would be needing a pain medication like Meloxicam. I had called previously to see if I could bypass the appointment (as I was concerned about the toll of traveling on Marcel) just to get this generic med, and was denied - which I understood at the time given that I wanted Marcel to have an examination. When I got there, I had to wait an extra 20-30 min past our appointment time. While Dr. Jennifer was nice and gentle with Marcel she didn't offer much of an examination (it totaled less than 10 min) or explanation beyond a broadly vague "it's brain cancer" and "we don't do testing for that here" when Crossroads Vet is very clearly advertised as servicing exotic animals. I appreciated that Dr. Jen did provide alternative testing locations. They charged me $90 for this not even 10 minute exam (see image) and on the report even listed Marcel's birth date incorrectly as August 15 (when I wrote it was August 3). I understand the risk of testing on an elderly hamster but I was very distressed after hearing that conclusion without any sufficient exam or explanation. Marcel was so brave during the whole ordeal - and it was aggravating knowing I could have just ordered the generic Meloxicam for much cheaper online at Chewy pharmacy, and spared Marcel's traveling discomfort. I never received a follow up email or check in after this appointment as a first-time patient - which when thinking of long-term care, is a red flag. I wasn't noticing any results from the Meloxicam as Marcel's condition worsened while he was in palliative care - and called to see if there was a CBD like alternative for hamsters, and was prescribed Gabapentin. For this occasion, they finally let me bypass the appointment process to just pick up the medication (which totaled over $50 for a tiny vial month supply). This is where it gets VERY concerning: the vet listed on the Rx, Bruce Singbeil (a different vet who never saw Marcel) prescribed 0.25mL of Gabapentin when it was supposed to be significantly less - presumably 0.025mL (see attached images). I was already thrown off by the different vet listed on the prescription. 0.25 mL would have been a LETHAL dose for my tiny Marcel, and if I had not known what I know about hamster care and medication, I don't even want to imagine what would have happened. Even anyone with common sense could see how that dosage was so much for a hamster weighing 110g. I immediately called the office and barely received an apology from the receptionist - I never received a formal apology or accountability from the actual vet who made such a careless, devastating error. I saw a previous review calling Crossroads Vet out for a prescription error that led to the passing of a dog. It is horrible that there is continued carelessness and I will most certainly take my future pet children to other exotic vets - do better.
