“What a cute place to take a walk with the family or friends. Grab a cup of coffee and take a stroll. Even tho all the plants were basically gone for the season, it was still such a fun and pretty walk. It's completely free besides during the light shows during winter which is inexpensive in itself. During this time it is so cold and the pond and tiny falls are completely frozen. Dogs are welcomed here. We even met someone with a beautiful pet turtle!!”

“This organization is an unsung hero in the Puget Sound Region, providing invaluable services and support to individuals with disabilities. At the heart of their mission lies a three-pronged approach, deeply rooted in Spiritual connection. The Spiritual Ministry fosters unity among people, embracing the core values of life, work, play, and community engagement. By connecting friends of Bridges to the local church they serve both the individual and those they connect with. The Guardianship Agency program, the second prong of their mission, is dedicated to facilitating the integration of individuals with disabilities into the fabric of society. It's a beacon of hope, ensuring that no one is left behind. However, the largest ministry of Bridges Disability Ministries is their Meyer Medical Equipment Center, which ensures mobility equipment is accessible to all, regardless of income. From wheelchairs to walkers, electric wheelchairs to crutches and scooters, they are the lifeline for those in need. We used this ministry to serve our mom when her Medicaid failed to provide a decent wheel chair in a timeline that was within her lifetime. We are so grateful!Bridges Disability Ministries is making a profound impact. They're not just supplying medical equipment; they're supplying independence, dignity, and a brighter future for all.”

“I have been associated with the Bellevue Clubhouse for five years now. These past five years I have had the opportunity to meet some of the kindest most genuine people I have ever met. The staff are competent and friendly and the colleagues at the clubhouse are amazing. I hope to be a part of this community for years to come.”

“I have been a long time student of this studio, and have been taken good care of by the teacher I worked with. He was often picky with my playing even as a veteran musician, which is what you need in order to improve. He can be picky even when I play bits of the music I have played all the way back in middle school. That's when you know you have a good teacher, when you play music you think is easy, but your teacher can still nitpick little details in your playing”

“I donated a portion from my first salary to Dembi Dollo Hospital Foundation and volunteer as well at health care camp near to my place. The foundation is filled with a caring team member and professional doctors. I too get a receipt for my donation. I request other people also to share their helping hand with Dembi Dollo Hospital Foundation so that many underprivileged people can be benefited.”

“So sad this place closed. I liked thrifting there and I remember volunteering here while I was in high school during the summer breaks for community service hours. This was such a neat store. They’d make us iron out the clothes with a steamer and the items were well curated. I hope this store reopens again….”

“Wonderful organization, with resources and guides that helped me (and my pet partner, Baxter) throughout the testing and volunteer experience. The only downside (nothing to do with organization), was when my pet partner passed away, and the thought of starting over with a new partner.”
