I recently got directed to carstar by my insurance company to get an assessment. The shop called my husband twice to schedule the appointment. However, when I arrived at the shop at the scheduled appointment time, the lady at the front desk told me the afternoon was blocked as no assessor was onsite. Apparently, the shop messed up the appointment and she didn’t even apologize about it. She insisted that we didn’t schedule the appointment; however, we do have the phone record showing the shop called to schedule the appointment. She told me I need to come back in two weeks to get my car assessed and put me on a new appointment in two weeks and told me that’s all she could do. I asked her if they messed up this appointment, how do they make sure they won’t mess up the next one? She refused to answer my question and asked me to leave. The shop is very unprofessional without even apologize to the customer about their mistake. I would highly encourage everyone to avoid this shop.

I recently took my car in for a minor scratch repair, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The initial interaction at the Front Desk gave me the impression that I would receive clear communication and timely updates. However, this was not the case.
Throughout the process, I encountered significant challenges in getting straightforward answers. Each time I called for an update, the representative at the Front Desk seemed disinterested in assisting me. Her tone conveyed a lack of willingness to engage, and she often responded with, "I don't know," without making any effort to find out the necessary information. The most frustrating part was her repeated promise to call me back the next day, which she never fulfilled.
What was particularly concerning was the final explanation she provided. When I expressed my frustration about the lack of updates and her failure to return my calls, she claimed that she couldn’t provide any information because she was merely sitting at the Front Desk and didn’t know anything about the repair process. This excuse was not only unacceptable but also demonstrated a complete disregard for customer service.
As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and to receive clear and timely communication about the services being provided. Unfortunately, this experience fell short of that expectation. I hope the management will address these issues to improve the overall customer experience.

CARSTAR has worked on 2 cars for me. Both times the service was great! This last time, they fixed my son's Ford Focus. We were afraid that the repair costs might exceed the value of the car, but John took extra care and searched for some refurbished parts to keep the cost down. It took extra time, but the car was fixed, insurance covered it, and the results were beautiful! Everyone at CARSTAR is super nice, plus they do all of the work with the insurance company (once the initial claim is filed). They make a very unpleasant situation very easy to deal with. Included are before and after photos of the car. You can't tell it was damaged at all.

I recently repaired my car at Carstar at the shop of Bel-Red road. I had very good experience. They gave me the estimated time for repairs and just did it on time. And I'd like appreciate the front desk. She was awesome, patient and responsiveness.

Had to wait two weeks for an estimate to repair my car door. At the estimate, I was told that I would have to pay out of pocket beyond insurance because Progressive did not estimate it correctly and is not easy to deal with. I took my car to Factory Finish afterwards. They also told me the repair was estimated incorrectly, but had no problem dealing with the insurance company. I’m not sure what Carstar is trying to pull, but when someone backs into my car, I have no interest in subsidizing their insurance payments because a collision center doesn’t feel like providing proof to an insurance company when there are more damages than the initial estimate suggested. Don’t waste your valuable time like I did.

Carstar collision Bellevue has been great to work with. When I first approached them for an estimate they scheduled me in quick and then were able to get us in the schedule for repair with a few weeks. After all the horror stories I heard for car repairs in the last few months and how it takes over a month I was prepared for the worst. John and Derek were honest and provided regular updates and were able to get our car fixed in ten days. They were also reasonably priced with good quality work. Thank you!
