This organization is an unsung hero in the Puget Sound Region, providing invaluable services and support to individuals with disabilities. At the heart of their mission lies a three-pronged approach, deeply rooted in Spiritual connection. The Spiritual Ministry fosters unity among people, embracing the core values of life, work, play, and community engagement. By connecting friends of Bridges to the local church they serve both the individual and those they connect with. The Guardianship Agency program, the second prong of their mission, is dedicated to facilitating the integration of individuals with disabilities into the fabric of society. It's a beacon of hope, ensuring that no one is left behind. However, the largest ministry of Bridges Disability Ministries is their Meyer Medical Equipment Center, which ensures mobility equipment is accessible to all, regardless of income. From wheelchairs to walkers, electric wheelchairs to crutches and scooters, they are the lifeline for those in need. We used this ministry to serve our mom when her Medicaid failed to provide a decent wheel chair in a timeline that was within her lifetime. We are so grateful!Bridges Disability Ministries is making a profound impact. They're not just supplying medical equipment; they're supplying independence, dignity, and a brighter future for all.

Needed a wheelchair for my mother who'd had an accident. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and helped me pick out the ideal one for her needs. All donation based, so when my mother's better, I plan to return the wheelchair to them so someone else can benefit!

Bridge Disabilities Equipment Center is an Ace in the hole! The people who work there as staff and volunteers are friendly, extremely helpful & will work with you for as long as needed during your visit! They will make sure that the equipment you need is right for your height, width & length of the seat of a wheelchair too! Beds & many other items are also available! The equipment center is donation based!

These are people who really care. Neil treated my friend well, answered his questions and even went through his walker and made sure it was in good shape.

The man helping me today was an absolute sweetheart, he helped me get a tilite wheelchair that I've been trying to afford for 5 months but couldn't find one that wouldnt cause me to go into even more debt. When he came around the corner with my new chair i felt all my dreams coming true i almost cried. He helped me fix the foot plate to fit my height, get a nice cushion for it, and then look for anti tippers online for me since it didn't have any. He was so kind and helpful and now I'm able to have some of my independence back! Absolutely love this place and i highly recommend! Please donate to them so they can continue helping our community ❤️

For those wanting to rent equipment from here just beware that "suggested donation" is not donation based. If it says "suggested donation 400", they're expecting you to pay minimum 400. Plus there's a set fee for delivery $150-200. Just beware in case you're thinking like me that this is a donation pay what you can type of scenario. They wont let you pay $50-100 for an item that's "suggested donation 400-900".
