“This is an incredible bike shop. I went in with very little knowledge, only knowing that I was interested in buying a bike.Conner was super knowledgeable and transparent about what he recommended. He even looked through the store’s system to help me find something more in my price range. He let me do a test ride and walked me through the store to help me find the additional parts I would need (helmet, lock, fender).I didn’t feel pressured to make any purchases, but did end up walking out with an awesome bike and accessories. I will definitely be coming back for other needs in the future!”
“Having been around bicycle stores for too many years to count, worked in the industry on and off , former bike racer , and hard core enthusiast, Montlake Bike Shop is 5 star plus!Great selection, customer service, and knowledge. Kudos to Max who helped me find what I was looking for in a gravel bike, and all the Montlake team ! This is in my view and experience , what a great bike shop looks like. Thanks!”
“Been into Trek Redmond about 8 times over the last year for bike maintenance and warranty issues. It’s not the closest bike shop to my house, but the employees who work there always make it worth the extra time driving. Throughout the issues I’ve encountered, Alex has always stepped up and made sure I was taken care of. Not only did Trek Redmond fix/warranty the problems with my bike, but they went above and beyond with the level of detail and customer experience throughout the process. Highly recommend the Trek Redmond team!”
“I had Ride Bicycles Bike Shop in Seattle upgrade my Cervelo. The manager Hannah was awesome. She found NOS resources and parts. The rebuild was done with cheerful oversight. The new bars and brake levers were a very big improvement in ride comfort! I do 30 -100 mile rides.”
“Love this shop! I wrench on my own bikes and stop in for a part from time to time. I *usually* know what I'm talking about, but they really know what's up and are friendly and helpful when I'm fuzzy on details/out of my depth.”
“I’ve been a loyal 20/20 customer for over ten years. I consistently get parts I can count on and excellent repair work for a reasonable price. Their advice is thoughtful and helpful. I’ve been a commuter in a few different cities and this is the best bike shop I’ve come across.”
“The staff was nice, knowledgeable, and dedicated. The store is open for limited hours (Noon to 6pm, Saturday and Sunday) due to the all-volunteer staff of bicycle fans. It's worth working your schedule to arrive during their hours.Very convenient location to ride your bike to, along Hiawatha Street, connecting Dearborn to the I-90 bike route.”
“We recently stopped at Gregg's to get help rebuilding a 16 years old Giant FCR1 bike. The staff at Gregg's was very helpful explaining which parts we would need and how to install them ourselves. With that we were able to rebuild our bike using the parts and advice we received at Gregg's and saving several hundred dollars along the way. As a backup plan we had the helpful staff of Gregg's that we could fallback to for help, but luckily we didn't need to.Actually, a few weeks after rebuilding the bike we took it to Gregg's to get new pedals installed and while at it, Andreas at Gregg's service department, double checked our work and corrected a few minor mistakes, all without extra charge! We should mention that another bike store that we consulted before going to Gregg's suggested that buying a new bike would make more sense as rebuilding would cost as much as buying a new one!”
“Fantastic company building great bikes! Just had a custom Phinney Ridge built around 650B, thru axles, all the proper refinements you’d come to expect. Smiley did my initial fit, great experience, and the final product just oozes comfort. Such a comfortable bike and I felt right at home on it from the first day. 5 weeks in, 1,200 miles on it, absolutely enamored with how it rides, how it looks and can confidently say this will be my #1 drop bar bike for a very long time. I use this bike recreationally, it’s my road bike, my training bike, gravel grinder, gravel race, and light bikepacking/touring/rando rig. It does it all, comfortably, and that speaks volumes. Just did a 130 mile day like it was nothing, ride quality allows for the big days to be a success. Can’t go wrong with a Rodriguez, long live USA hand built frames! The shop is also well stocked with anything else you might need and as always, if they don’t have it, it can be ordered.”
“Impressed with the folks here and the new shop. I ran into some trouble mid-project, and brought my bike in to have them finish the job, which they did speedily, along with some extra assistance along the way. Always fun when the shop takes a real interest in my bike. Glad to have these guys so close to home - will be back.”
“Stopped by because my rear pads on my disc brake was rubbing a bit. AJ helped me fixed it.
Great customer service, he really hooked me up. I know I’ll be back when I need new cable housing!”
“I shopped at Branford bike back in the 1980's when it was in Branford, CT. I have been a cyclist/racer for 48 years and this shop is one of the best. I have used their rebuild kits to keep my wife's old 10 speed Campagnolo shifters like new. I just had them re build the rear derailleur. It was out and back to Dallas in a week. I have talked to them on the phone and they have been nothing but helpful and polite”
“Great bike shop! I stopped in and the owner let me borrow his bike chain breaker for my new chain which was very nice of him. Will be back to join one of the group rides.”
“Brought them a Specialized Road Bike fresh in the box. They completed assembly insanely quick, offered a wealth of knowledge for all my questions. (it's been a long time since I've ridden a bike)
100% going back for any maintenance or tweaks for fitment.”

“I didn't actually visit but I called for some help. And although they couldn't fix the issue themselves, they suggested a few other bike shops that could help me. That was much appreciated.”

“Workers are always friendly. I leased a bike for 3 months during my internship in Seattle. It was the perfect way to commute. The price works well with Amazon commuter benefits. Work reimbursed me the $165/month. And the bike is so much fun to ride. It was one of my favorite things to do while in the city - explore on my e-bike.”
“I had never been to Gregg's before to have any work done, but I had an issue with an older tandem bottom bracket. Chris helped me - he was super knowledgeable, patient, and helpful, and got me out the door with a great solution. While I was there, I saw the mechanics help everyone from commuters on hybrids to enduro bros - they seemed super professional, well staffed, helpful. I'll be back.”
