Pretty good selection of high end luggage brands and knowledgeable salesperson who gove honest advice about the differences between luggage. Have purchased several nice peices of luggage from them that have held up for long term use.
Note -this is a place to buy luggage that will last and you will pay money for the luggage. But you may not have to replace it for 20 years even after heavy use.

Decent selection, although sometimes behind-the-times stock. For example, they have Briggs and Riley luggage that's on close-out, but not the Torq line released four years ago. The big problem is that they are often closed when they're supposed to be open. There's no point going there, since more than half of my tries, nobody was there during their working hours.
Macy's Home in Bellevue Square next door has a bigger selection, lower prices and is actually open when they should be. The only advantage Bergman has is that, if you're lucky enough to find them open, the staff actually knows something about luggage, which isn't the case at Macy's.

So I came here in 2015-2016ish. At the time, I went because I needed new luggage and it was nearby work. I went in and asked for the owner’s suggestion. He directed me confidently to some thing and said “this is the best for sure. Not quite the most expensive but the best.” Still, the name of TravelPro seemed sketchy at best and I was shocked at the price of “not the most expensive” piece of luggage. I’m sometimes a pushover so I ended up buying it because I try my best to go with recommendations.
Little did I know TravelPro is actually the best. And little did I know it was fairly priced. The salesman was nice to me and friendly, now that I know he wasn’t trying to cheat me. I think about this often as an example that not everyone is trying to cheat you. 7+ years on and it’s still the best piece of luggage I/we own and is basically like new.
So long story short I recommend stopping in.

I drove a long way to your store only to find you closed with no warning. Lost a customer today.

Bergman is the best. They have all the high-end expensive lines as well as the "affordable" lines. They are very knowable and willing to spend the time to explain and help you decide.

Very rude customer "service".We went to shop for some higher-end luggage, and chose this store as we found it carried a brand we were interested in.We go in and the sales associate there is busy helping another party. My wife indicates to the associate that when he's done that we would like some guidance on purchasing new suitcases. Well, when he's done, instead of coming to us, he just goes to whatever the heck he's doing. At some point my wife expresses disappointment that he didn't come help us.At this point, the sales associate says "if you're not happy with the service, the door's wide open. You can leave." What the heck is that? Even if you don't agree with the feedback you are receiving, this is hardly a professional way to respond to a customer who is potentially looking at spending four figures on quality luggage in your store. Well, congrats, because we went out of our way to give a local place a try instead of buying on line, and you shot yourselves in the foot and out of a nice big sale. Well done.

I wanted to thank the sales person, Brian, for helping us to make the decision to spend our money elsewhere. As we were ignored from the minute we entered the store, we had time to peruse all of the store's offerings. When I glanced at a suitcase near the couple that he was already helping, he glared at me, more concerned with making his current sale than acknowledging our presence. Given, the awkwardness of the situation, I asked if he could help us when he got a chance. To which, he replied quite brusquely. Finally, when he did approach us to see if we needed help, we didn't know what to say we were quite taken aback by his lack of civility. Then, unprofessionally, he joked with the other couple how we claimed to have needed help and we didn't. He completely lost it when I mentioned the low Yelp reviews. It was a sad day for customer service!

I was taking a close look at two sizes of Briggs and Riley suitcases. The larger one seemed big, I ask "Is it size and weight compatible with airlines?" Sales guy says, "Even filled up, the suitcase won't be overweight." Really? I say. It seems worth it then. Wrong. My not even full the suitcase was over weight. We had to remove stuff at the bag check. Tried again returning and again overweight. Did they stand by their word? Nope. I have to eat it. Next time forget about them and order what you want on line.

Great customer service. I was looking for a Baggallini purse and had been to several stores. Very few places even sold that brand. Bergman Luggage had just what I was looking for.

I attempted to enter the downtown Bergman Luggage store. The store was was not closing for another 15 minutes. But not to the employees working on this day they locked the door and turned off the lights. The employee even annotate that it was closing time. I'm beyond disappointed with the particular store.

Chris (my salesperson) spent a lot of time showing me the differences between various luggage brands (I was trying to decide between 3 brands) and provided side by side demonstrations of each of their features and price points and weights etc. He was amazingly knowledgeable and generous with his time. No hard sell. Highly recommend this luggage store.

Very helpful staff. Full selection of Briggs and Riley luggage, especially the Baseline series. Free initials engraving included with select B&R items.
