I have been working with Darren for about a year. I have a number of injury issues and he has been really great at identifying areas to work on and make modifications where I need them. I've seen significant improvement overall and can, for the first time in my life, do push-ups! We are now meeting via Zoom which I didn't think would work from me but it's actually been awesome. Highly recommended.

I've been working with Darren for over three years. Darren has integrity--he deeply cares about his clients and their health and creates individualized workout plans to fit those needs in a "fun", safe and creative way. I love that every month there is a different program so you don't get too complacent (which he won't let you get) and he safely challenges you to reach that next level. The group setting with individualized plans has kept me accountable and as an added bonus, I've met some really nice people. He is knowledgeable and keeps up to date on the latest research and nutrition and I trust him as my trainer.

I have been benefitting from Darren's experience for over 8 years. During that time he has continued his professional education allowing him to implement new and effective training techniques for his clients. His flexibility includes designing client programs adapted to their specific limitations or injuries. From body weight training, to aerobic exercise, to specialized equipment both simple and complex, to remote coaching via email or video, Darren offers a lot of versatility to his clients.

MAT (Muscle Activation Training) was totally new to me before I signed up with Darren as my personal trainer 2 months ago. With Darren's knowledge and kind guidance, my knees are no longer hurting, and he is working on alleviating my shoulder pain and strengthening the joints. His expectations are high, but he is constantly assessing what is going on in terms of pain and progress on goals.

I have been taking advantage of small group training for about three months now and it has been fantastic. I love the flexibility of the supervised open gym time while having the structure of a very personalized program. When I tweaked my knee hiking, Darren changed up my workouts so that I could continue without skipping a beat. I've been training with Darren since 2007. He is laid-back and easygoing, but still expects follow-through. He is very knowledgeable and can easily develop a plan to help you achieve your goals. As you evolve, so does Darren's tailor-made plan for you. He routinely asks for feedback, and makes changes in response. Darren can work around any quirks, injuries, or conditions you may have. He does weight training as well as Muscle Activation Technique. I have used a combination of both and both are excellent.

I've been working with Darren for the past 4 years. I love his unique approach to determining what you are trying to accomplish and then customizing a program just for you. He even changes the program as I change my life focus! He is upbeat, works with you just the way you are and understands that you live in a real world. Can't recommend Darren enough!

MAT (Muscle Activation Technique) was totally new to me. Using it Darren resolved my neck pain and restored my range of motion after one session. Before I couldn't even turn my head all the way while driving to look for changing lanes and he fixed that! As a personal trainer he is incredibly patient and kind which is great for someone like me who is new to working out. His years of experience and extra training really showed when he put together a plan for me. Individualized training is just that with him, tailored to produce the results I want while working with my needs. He is knowledgeable enough to be able to adapt or alter anything that isn't working for me or causes me discomfort so I keep going. Best personal trainer ever.
