I have been into this store a few times in search of various parts for my 1964.5 Mustang. I'm not even looking for difficult to find parts. I just didn't want to wait. Once I wanted centers for my rims (in that case all centers online were backordered) and today I wanted a new blinker switch for my LED taillights. Now, I do not claim to be a mechanic and I'll be the first to admit that most of the time I do not have any idea what I'm talking about BUT I am learning and I am trying. Today I found the older man working in the store to be of no help and completely patronizing. I will never go back to Bel-Kirk Mustang. I will buy my parts online. I wanted to support a local business but it's just not worth trying to talk to that guy.

Had most of what I needed. Be careful when calling about parts. Computer does not always keep up with what is used by repair shop so parts may show available, in computer, but may not be in shop. Went looking for a gas filler neck gasket, computer said 5 in stock but none on shelf. Otherwise great place for parts and information! Will be back I'm sure!

Bought a brake booster for my 68 cougar. Was told that one from a 68 mustang would fit. Took car to garage got it apart and it not even close. Bring it back with mine on a friday to see I'd they had one that matched up. They didnt left mine on a friday to be sent out to be rebuilt. Now its Wednesday and it still has not left their facility. If I stand corrected it dont take too much to send something out with ups when they deliver stuff to u

Do not recommend. They will charge more than they should, add in things you don't ask for and not actually diagnose what you ask them to.I drove my mustang to bel-Kirk in late April for help with my an over-heating issue - as they were mustang experts. One of their mechanics has zero business being in a garage. Mike was great, but the other person kept working on my car even after I expressed him not to touch it (based on my first conversation with him).I asked to simply have them change the fuel pump and hoses to carb and give me an idea on overheating. And to not exceed $300 or call me if so. 4 days later I get a call saying my bill was over $750 for "repairs" I did not ask for and that my car now doesn't run at all. Examples include a non-stock metric battery cable that they installed after they broke my stick one, 10 gallons of gas that never got poured into the tank (was bone dry when I got home) and many other "parts". He even adjusted my clutch - the wrong way. The highlight of this experience was them telling me my engine was shot and I needed a new one. I towed it home and after 3 seconds of pulling the dist cap I could see they broke the metal prong on the rotor causing it to be sideways. No way it would fire right. Put an old one back on, ran great. Mechanics should know how to diagnose something so simple! Don't trust them on your car.

I’ve been coming to belkirk since I was 16 when I could only afford parts to keep my 68 mustang running. Fast forward 20 years and I was finally in a position to restore it. I turned to the great team at belkirk to not only restore it but to upgrade the engine, transmission, EFI, and much more! Like with most big projects, there are set backs and I will say it took a few months longer than they quoted but I’m glad I held out. My car turns heads and is a blast to drive. They were reasonably priced and made sure I ordered from reliable places.
