I was impressed at how friendly, personable and down to earth the staff is at this location. BECU is very customer focused and a great place to do banking if you are tired of dealing with big banks, their fees and lack of service. Give BECU a try and see for yourself.

Absolutely the most pathetic banking system. Constantly locking your card because of “fraud” but don’t notify you; you only find out when you’re knee deep at the register with product to find out it’s locked. Can’t get a hold of anyone after 7pm. I’ve never had a bank so often lock your card because of suspected fraud like this bank does. And even after speaking to an employee to unlock the card it’s still locked. Incompetence is common with this bank. I wouldn’t recommend them. Working on leaving them for another more competent bank.

Smaller location and parking is a bit of a headache but this is a great branch! Associate was very nice and was able to help me with my cashiers check. Thank you!

I go here for personal loan and after they took 1 hour of my time they side sorry we can't help u . So I go to different office in Bellevue in just 30 minutes I got the money in my account

Terrible service. I arrived 10 minutes earlier prior to my appointment. However, I waited for 30 minutes and only had a 10 mins conversation, instead of original planned 30 mins. Even if I booked the appointment online a few days ahead, the staff were completely occupied/behind schedule - there were two more customers waiting after me.The staff was also unprofessional in handling conflict. When I tried to explain quickly I had an appointment and was in a rush(working mom with kids schedule), she was rude and ask me to go online instead and check by myself, without asking if I have further questions that would be more applicable for in person conversation. I felt disappointed especially it’s my first time stepping into BECU and this is not what I expected.Some suggestions:1. Respect online appointments. Otherwise don’t offer this option.2. Investigate what happened. There were 2 other staff working at Bellevue location during that time. When one customer said something rude or inappropriate to another customer in face, the minimum the staff could do is to de-escalate the heated conversation and be reasonable and compassionate, which was the opposite of what that particular staff did. I felt even more hurt because she didn’t even acknowledge my feelings and kept saying “you can express your feelings but” in an impatient tone. If allowed, having some training for the staff would probably improve future customer experience.

Worst financial institution ever. Yeah, you happen to be my "branch". The financial institution itself is piece of s**** Will close my my mother's account ($53,000) and mine, average balance of $15k and monthly activities of income/expenditures of $20,000. I know you don't give a s**** but, hope you go out of business in the very near future. Actually, Boeing and it's crappy business must run over into the "employees " finances too. Close your accounts, folks, before you may lose your money!

Closed my Columbia Bank account (see earlier review) walked 2 blocks to BECU and opened an account in less than 10 minutes. Walked out with debit card in hand. no b******* and no drama. Friendly and easy.

I have a home loan with them already. So, it shouldn't be difficult to apply for a home equity loan. Well I was wrong. This bank is totally inept, disorganized and difficult to access , Forget about getting anyone on the phone . My papers appear to be lost. This place is poorly, poorly managed. Have made an appt with the other bank I use Key Bank. What a difference. joanne in seattle.

I am a combat veteran who moved here for the construction boom. After being a commercial diver and welder in San Diego mostly as a contractor for the Navy I relocated here. My union was supposed to change their services to BECU so I decided to get a jump on The transition. After opening a savings checking and line of credit I found it nearly impossible to get money from any of my many other accounts into it. Then I became ill with a chronic condition from toxic exposure from my time in service. I was so ill I couldn't even walk across the street to the hospital if I tried. We are probably the highest paid union in the northwest and I haven't had a late payment in almost 7 years for anything. So because they couldn't get a hold of me or seem to find a way to get money from one of my many accounts while I was ill they shut down my line of credit essentially making it just a debt and then told me that I need to come in to close out all of my accounts. I'm not taking time out of my busy schedule to go down and close out all of my accounts. If they want to secretly shut down my line of credit and then harass me daily (filling up my voicemail daily) which consequently overloaded my voicemail so I couldn't get actual important messages at work about making payments on it. I do not recommend anyone not using this bank and would never let anyone I care about do any business with this bank. I will be making this very clear to all of my union brothers and sisters. Terrible service and even worse attitude and condissension from a so-called manager Who I make three times more than. Their bank managers should try a couple business classes. Because the business they will lose for me and my friends Family in Union will drastically dwarf the small that I can pay out of pocket at any time.

My business and entire family have been with BECU for the past 11+years. They are Honest, Fair, Attentive and Extremely Customer Centric. I have dealt with all the big banks for 35+ years and will never go back after working with BECU. They are truly the BEST. Cheers
