I haven't shopped at Athleta for a long time, but saw some really cute new designs online. I went to Bellevue Square today and bought some things at Athleta, but wow, I haven't experienced such rudeness from employees like that in years. I got major attitude for asking questions about a product and fit, even asking for a dressing room! I pretended not to notice, but will never go back there. I like the company and would give their clothing 4 stars. Unfortunately, the experience deserves no stars for that location and staff.

These clothes are terrible. They don't last long. The zippers break. And they don't wear well at all.
Time to go back to Lululemon or try some other companies that are better.

I purchased two pairs of pants. Washed them before wearing and the lines from folding were still there. I went to return them and I was 4 days outside of their 30-day return policy. I'm told there's nothing that can be done and asked if I have a steamer so I can steam out the lines. I told her she can trash the pants. I walked down to Nordstrom found everything I wanted. High price point and crappy return policy is not good customer service. I've shopped Athleta for years but no more.

When I tried the clothes, a shop assistant asked me twice to take out inappropriate clothes and put them on the shelf, and asked me if I had put them on the shelf when I paid for some items. She is very unfriendly. My English is not good and I had to explain to her at least twice.Another assistant is friendly and she told me just leave the items in the fitting room.

The atmosphere is not welcoming and kinda passive aggressive when you want to return an item that didn’t work (bc of size, material etc). It’s a shame that you spend $$$ and this is the way that they treat you. Depending on the cashier you get, you may have a very different experience (the younger lady staff next to me was very friendly to another customer but the one I’ve got is extremely passive aggressive). If you are a fan of Athleta and still wanted to remain a fan, avoid this place if possible.

I came to the reviews to see if my experience was an isolated event or becoming the norm in the Bellevue store. Unfortunately, it seems to be the latter. I have shopped Athleta for years and am a diehard fan of their products; the quality justifies the price. However, I have never had a pleasant experience with the black lady who works there. In fact, I have either avoided her in the store or simply not entered the store altogether if she's there. Most recently, she begrudgingly enrolled me in a wellness discount program. This was around July or August. When I pointed out she had misspelled my name, she dismissed this with a wave of her hand and said, "Well you can update it next year when you have to reapply." I have not been back to that location. I have shopped at Totem Lake and U-Village and will continue to visit those locations.

I shop here regularly. NEVER AGAIN after my experience with staff and manager this morning. Apparently they had been unloading merchandise since 6 am. I worked retail for many years - Victoria’s Secret and Express. I understand the unforgiving retail grind. Because of this, they were not in the mood to open the store at 10a for customers. I had a return and was looking to shop for myself and daughter. I was treated with a annoyance and disgust when they opened the doors. I was told I needed to have empathy for how unkind THEY treated and spoke to me - the behavior and tone justified because they had been working since 6a. I was caught completely off guard. If someone would have taken a moment to clarify the situation upon entry I would have understood. Instead I was snapped at and made to feel bad for entering. I will NEVER buy from this location or Athleta again. From the last few posts, I’m not the only one who has experienced this behavior.

Cashier: 2349091 a black lady is rude and confident with not much product knowledge. She first exhibited discourteous behavior when I inquired about the possibility of receiving a discount on a pair of pants with minor imperfections. She firmly declared, "It's impossible; we never offer discounts!" Later she look online for the incorrect product. Undeterred, I selected an alternative pair of pants that were slightly too long. Without providing further information or alternative options, she began the checkout process and educated me in the whole process. Fortunately, another cashier intervened and assisted me in locating a better-fitting pair of pants online.

These ladies are so lovely and helpful. I went here to go shopping for the first time in quite a while (been taking care of something else), and they were wonderful, welcoming and patient. I highly recommend! Genuineness.

Came in to exchange leggings that had small holes in them after a few washes which is the policy on their website “if an item is defective or does not perform to your standard” you can go in and exchange for a new pair. The manager on 4/26 at 7:30pm was extremely passive aggressive and continued to basically try and make me seem like someone who wanted something for free.. I’ve have bought more stuff from Athleta than I can count and I’ve always had a positive experience from customer service but the manager specifically was very unprofessional and told me I should buy leggings from another store if they were so bad. It’s 2023 and people still are working jobs they are not fit for!!! Sad and frustrating

This store and brand have gone down hill. I don't get the service I used to and selection is not as good as before the pandy. Their designs lack creativity; they are missing performance basics and good yoga tanks.

I had a great shopping experience at this store! Amy was the one who helped me through out the entire experience. She explained the special offer nicely, helped me to find very specific style request I had, and gave me recommendations! I enjoyed my time here and thank you Amy for your service ❤️
