We recently had to put our elderly cat Paco to sleep. Unfortunately our main veterinary only scheduled appointments via an app. Which was very frustrating. We called AHOF looking for an option other than our own clinic and it was incredibly refreshing to be able to talk to a vet technician rather than working through a phone app. Incredibly nice staff who were willing to work with us given our time constraints for a late day appointment. They were able to transfer our cat's medical history on the spot. Their closing hours are at 7 p.m. and the veterinarian stayed late to give our cat a peaceful end. Of course this situation may differ from our own. But if you have question's or have an animal in need of assistance I highly suggest contacting AHOF.

I will never come here again. The only reason I finished my vaccinations here was because I purchased the extremely expensive puppy plan. They are a money hungry place that would rather get money than recommend the correct treatment for your dog. My puppy had an extremely mild reaction to the rabies vaccine and they wanted to charge almost $300 to give him meds and IV of fluids, because he vomited once! Employees kept asking each other about money and if I needed to be charged even though I bought a $900 puppy plan. Profit hungry clinic that acts condescending and has zero transparency towards clients. Take your pets elsewhere!!

I've been a veterinary client going on 30 years, and I have never come across a team of this caliber. From the moment Nicole answered the phone, I had a feeling we were in good hands. Ariel is truly amazing at what she does, and Dr. Varallo was superb. It was an outstanding experience from the moment y'all answered the phone. I never felt like a customer for a moment, just somebody with a bunch of animal lovers looking after my babies.

From the folks at the front desk to the Dr. in the examination room and everyone in between, an excellent crew! They listened, heard, responded and cared for me and my critter, they have my animal’s best interest at heart. Thank you AHOF!!!

Emma's breathing was labored and was taken back immediately upon arrival to be examined, even though we were an hour early. Everyone was helpful and she is doing well now.

Went to this place for the first time to get check up and vaccinations. Vet recommended heartworm testing because we wanted to give our dogs simparica which they were already taking. After much discussion, the vet agreed with us that because they are in a low risk part of the country and already taking simparica that as long as we understood the risks of taking it without annual heartworm testing, he would prescribe it. We went home and then ordered it and the clinic denied it saying that we need heartworm testing and that the vet who saw us no longer worked there.
Will never come here again and I would suggest that anyone who wants to have any say in the care of their animals also avoid this place. Seems like they’re only here to push unnecessary testing and other revenue generating procedures on you. I mean, logically speaking, if a dog is already taking simparica, why would they need heartworm testing? Isn’t that the whole point of simparica? Veterinary care is in a sad state of affairs these days. Profit hungry vet clinic are all over the place ready to take advantage of your affection for your pets. I would avoid private practices like these altogether as their goal is always to maximize profit. Better to patron your local Seattle humane society.

I am extremely disappointed with the care my dog received at this veterinary clinic. During our recent visit, they administered all vaccinations at the same time, which led to severe reactions in my dog. We had to rush to the emergency, resulting in a very stressful experience and significant expenses. Additionally, they incorrectly informed me that my dog had received the same vaccinations before, which was not true. This level of carelessness and misinformation is unacceptable, and I will not be returning to this clinic. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve their practices to ensure the safety and well-being of their patients.
Edit after the response: Thank you for your response. I understand vaccine reactions can happen, but I’m concerned about how it was handled. I expected a follow-up call from the vet right after the incident, not after writing this review and waiting a week. I expect a call on Monday to check the status. It’s important to make clients feel safe and informed. I appreciate your efforts to get reimbursement and to share information with other vets. Thank you for your support.

Our dog recently suffered a serious medical emergency resulting in hospitalization. It was a scary experience but Dr Androski made it all seem manageable as she talked us thru the potential scenarios and helped us make decisions about our dog's care. We felt informed and supported and appreciated her genuine concern for our dog. Though we'll need to manage her condition for the rest of her lifetime, our dog seems to have made a full recovery and we are very thankful for the care she received at AHOF.

Despite having a full schedule of standing appointments, when our cat had a seizure, the AHOF team graciously swung into action and found a way to see her under emergency conditions. The care, love, and professionalism shown as they helped our kitty was readily apparent and certainly appreciated by me.

We take out Peanut here.
This is a really good vet, however they are very bad at giving quotes. Almost every time we go for a checkup or appointment our bill is several hundred above what we are quoted. At this point we usually have more but we have still been bitter about the misquote for his vaccine. He was quoted around $600 (rounding up) and it ended up being over $900. It really messed us up financially.
They are very thorough and very very nice. However be cautious about your quotes as this is a very expensive vet.

My pet Cream suddenly passed away. Although she was older, we were not quite ready to let her go. We are still grieving, and today, my kids cry their hearts out over the handwritten letter you sent.
I am not sure how you knew Cream died, but I think it means that you have been periodically tracking and caring about the status of all the pets. I appreciate your thorough and compassionate management.
