“I had a great experience today at QFC Pharmacy in Belfair. I just had a hip replacement, and was looking for some other options besides ice cubes for icing my hip. They have a small section in front of the counter that has braces, ace bandages and other injury recovery items, but I didn’t see any gel packs or items that could be used for icing. I asked the folks behind the counter, and the pharmacist on duty overheard my question and shared some options they had behind the counter. I got exactly what I needed for under $5. Thank you!”

“I have had a good experience with transferring all my prescriptions to this Safeway Pharmacy from QFC. The cashier has become a chit chat friend, usually about my Yorkie. I think that most customers don't realize that having a grocery store pharmacy is so nice in many ways but to be profitable to the store as a whole, sacrifices ( limited labor ) are made. Think of how high prices would be to pay for enough staff to service customers right away. There are pharmacies that do that if you need white glove treatment. So suck it up like the rest of us. The employees at this Safeway Pharmacy deserve respect most of the time (HEE,HEE!!)”

“This place is small and they don't do any filling here at all. They only fill at the main hospital pharmacy a day or two ahead of time and deliver the filled prescriptions in the morning via military escort. They then dispense these through the day. I see many people go through trying to get their prescription filled here who don't know this amd take up every one else's time arguing with the people inside ro try to get it filled, but they don't have any stock to fill with so they just hold up the line. Also as I said this place is small barely enough room for 2 people to work with out tripping over eachother so what did they do?... they added 4 Robotic inventory assistants to help speed things up shorten the line and shorten the wait time. Very nicely done now one person can do the work of 5 and we can get in and out even faster. I am very impressed bravo! The only thing I can think of to improve this place would be to have their own drive "In" location on Austin drive and keep the same Drive "Out" location because some times they get a line that causes a lot of traffic problems for the community and having separate in and out could certainly solve this. It could even alow them to use the extra parking spaces for people with big orders to park in while they wait for the staff to get their order together. As right now if you try to use the parking spaces there is a chance you could get blocked in.”

“A lot of new faces behind the counter and even some new equipment it looks like they just got some new computers and are in the process of learning the ins and outs of a new system. Overall the wait time is already noticeably much shorter, and if you use the "get in line" text service a couple hours before showing up the wait time is almost not a thing at all. The script center has also been upgraded and is now larger and faster too. Now being filled twice a day instead of once. They now load the script center at 1pm and at the end of the day 6pm. So if you get your order in soon enough you can have your meds in the same day from the vending machine down stairs with out any wait at all. Over all loving the improvements keep up the Great work!”
