Working with Hugh and Scott at Lumos has been great- they are super helpful and knowledgeable about all things hot tub related. They recently ordered a custom hot tub cover for me, delivered it, and even installed the cover lift- a great group of people to work with. They are down to earth and kind, I love having them as my spa guys!

Can’t say enough good things about Lumos. Hugh is always there with practical help for my pool issues. He answers questions, helps diagnose, and offers suggestions. He let me borrow his store-model pump and run it on my system for a few days to see if it would run better. It did. And then he offered me a great deal to purchase it. I love supporting locally-owned businesses.

We recently moved to the area and completely renovated our home. We purchased a retro look gas range; the company that ran our gas line hooked up the stove but it was not operating properly. We stopped in at Lumos Hearth & Home and inquired about their services. Scott came out to our home, quickly determined the stove needed to be converted from natural gas to propane and that the Canadian stove manufacturer had actually failed to install the regulator. Scott took the time to secure the part and we’re cooking with gas! Thank you, Scott for your excellent service!

After cleaning my gas fireplace and removing some corroded D-cell batteries used for fireplace backup power, my fireplace refused to ignite...So, I contacted the manufacturer (and some of their dealers) for help getting my fireplace to restart. Messages were left with most of the dealers I called. But one of the dealers I called, (Lumos Hearth & Home) answered and said they had staff more familiar with my system who would return my call.A short while later Hugh with Lumos returned my call. About ten minutes into my conversation with Hugh, my fireplace was operational again.Who could ask for anything more?Thanks, Hugh!(So many other dealers could have wanted to make an appointment and come out to inspect the issue.)

I purchased a spa from Hugh at Lumos after shopping around for quite some time. The transaction was extremely smooth and I enjoyed working with Hugh from the start. He took ample time to answer all my questions, delivered on what was promised (and then some) and provided support when I was finishing setting up the spa. The crew that delivered the spa was very professional and friendly as well! Highly recommend working with these folks!

Hugh has gone above and beyond for our woodstove needs. He has also continued with follow up care regarding an issue we encountered that a different company was responsible for. Amazing customer care, amazing follow through. Cannot say enough great things about this company!

What more can you say besides an honest locally owned small business. Honesty is hard to find these days, but I have not been disappointed the times I have been in. Also, customer service is amazing. They genuinely care about the products and your understanding over profit. The products sold are higher end, so cost will be a bit higher here than can be found elsewhere, but supporting a local business that still knows what honesty is and how to treat customers. It is quite refreshing! Thanks a bunch for the new pump and filter kit for the pool!Update: nothing has changed. Hugh is awesome, as a small business owner and as a person. Helped me out in a personal issue on very short notice. It's just the type of person you like to have around. Thanks again, Hugh for making me be sure I chose correctly for my pool and spa needs. Will not be going anywhere else.

This place is our first stop for hot tub supplies. We also bought our hot tub and wood stove here. The owner is exceptional when it comes to helping customers with hot tub chemicals, hot tubs, pizza ovens and stoves. And he has great, qualified installers for all the items. Prices are good and we love supporting small business. Highly recommend this place.

I'm a newer pool owner and initially tried buying most stuff and educating myself about pool care online. What I found out is that you really can't replace having local experts for advice. I mean, I can read articles and watch YouTube videos all day, or I can go to Lumos, explain what's going on, and have an answer to my question and a product to address it in 2 minutes. I'd personally rather go to Lumos and spend the extra time in the pool.Really great people here who are always super friendly and helpful!
