Only went because my favorite store got hit by a truck. Half the staff seems to not know whats going on, and they wouldn't sell me a belt unless I made a membership, and it wasn't even the correct belt. Also took about 15 minutes to give me the wrong belt

Scott is a very rude employee here. Gave me a hard time about a simple question, then mumbled an insult as I walked out the door.

My daughter purchased a lawnmower battery on April 2022. I was unable to get the battery to charge. I called Autozone and discusse possible charging issues. I was told it was out of warranty and to confirm charging instructions. The next day I decided to take the battery in to have it tested and charged. Prior to arriving I called (Scott) the manager to verify my concerns with the battery and warranty. Upon arriving I put the battery on the counter and told the lady I just discussed the battery issues with Scott. Moments later Scott came up scolding the young lady not to touch the leaking battery and walked away. Moments later Scott brought back some white powdery substance and sprinkled it on battery, confirming a leaking battery. I told Scott that I called the day before and spoked to a young lady about the warranty, she said it was no longer a warranty on the battery, that I could come in and purchase a new battery and receive 20 % towards my next purchase. I tried confirming this with Scott , he abruptly said there was no lady working yesterday. He said I must of called another place. I told him I’d be happy to show him my call log . He then said had a girl working that afternoon. I said it was late afternoon that I spoke with her. Scott abruptly said the information she gave me about the 20% was incorrect and warranty was for 90 days and no longer covered. So I asked if I could leave the battery and he could notate my daughter’s acct giving her $17 core credit. I explained that I was on real time crunch and tried to avoid taking it back to daughters place in Ridgefield and that she could come in at some point to purchase a new battery. Scott was extremely rude, abrupt and unprofessional in regards this issue and being a loyal customer to Auto Zone. After Scott walked away the young put her head down looking totally embarrassed and apologized for his behavior . I told her that I would be filing a review of my experience with Auto Zone in Battleground. That evening I explained everything to daughter telling her not to go back to do ANY business with them again. There’s better options for her to go to purchase a new battery.

Friendly professional and courteous staff went out of their way to help me. Called several stores to help me identify commercial account.The store was also nice and clean well organized and had lots of cool stuff that I was interested in. Also got a great deal on a tool that I didn't know I needed until I saw it.
