“This is for a good cause and I was happy to find some good deals. I got a couple silver necklaces and they had colored tags and depending on the color there was a discount. The holiday stuff was half price so I got a candle and cute ornament. If you are in the area it's worth it to stop in.”

“I love this thrift store. The women who run and organize the floor are the best and so helpful. Prices are great, I always find whats on my thrifting list and some more special one of a kind options. I much prefer them over goodwill or other stores in our area.”

“New location is much bigger than the old place and definitely a step up but quite bare bones inside. As one would perhaps expect. Best deals in town still, and kids get one free you in the toy zone each visit. Donations accepted Mon-Sat 9:30-4:00.Somedays Whalen's Weiners grills Nathan's hot dogs just outside the front door.”

“this place absolutely is the best for helping people in need at no cost... The people on here complaining about the prices need to move on and shop elsewhere because the funding goes to help people truly in need(i.e. Women leaving domestic violence relationships and starting over etc) Who badmouths Charities anyways???? hopefully you never find yourself in a bad situation but if you do Abraham's house will be there to help you out at no charge to you!!!keep up the good work Abraham's house we love you?”

“What a hidden gem of a thrift store that is completely volunteer run! I love finding high quality clothes at really low prices on the main strip in Ballard. It is so nice to know all the money goes to help children.”

“Prices very reasonable for buyers, but don't expect much for consignment. I came in at end of my contract and was told I had a balance of $7.80--- for 2 items that sold, one a brand new Treasure & Bond (Nordstrom) flannel shirt and the other an ALC black merino wool knit dress, only worn once (photos below of exact dress that my neice modled). They don't provide any breakdown of how much the items sold for or anything like that, so you just have to trust and be happy with what you get. So doing the math, those 2 items together sold for a little more than $20.00. So yeah, awesome deal for buyers, which is great for them! The sales associate explained that they have to price things lower than Goodwill, and that most people that bring things in are doing so to make a few extra $ for the things they might otherwise have donated. In fact, most never bother to come and pick up their unsold items. I now 100% understand, but still feel a little sad.”

“My parents and I regularly shop at this Goodwill and the one in Silverdale, every Saturday. I have an interesting thing to say about this Goodwill. There is a ghost there. Or, some items may be haunted I don't know for sure. I'm talking about the knick knack aisle and the candles and vases aisle in particular. I noticed a planter flew off the shelf one day and didn't think too much about it until another time I saw another knick knack get flung off the shelf. It even arced as it was falling. And another time my mom and I were in the knick knack aisle again and two things simultaneously went flying off the shelf and we were just thinking how weird that was. At first I thought it may just be falling off the shelf but I have seen items going up in the air then down and with force. So it happened again today when my dad and I was in the knick knack aisle. I watched something fly off the shelf behind my dad. He only heard it but I told him about the other times I witnessed things flying off the shelves. So, just be warned. If something falls onto the floor in that aisle, it's probably the ghost trying to get your attention. It seems like it could possibly be the items that are haunted since the knick knacks tend to be old unwanted sentimental pieces of old. Stuff your grandparents left you when they died and you don't want so you donated it to Goodwill type of things. So, if you do happen to find whatever it is you're looking for there, remember it belonged to someone at one time and they probably gave it some love and this Goodwill does have treasures, that's why we go there every weekend. Just keep an eye out for ghostly happenings there FYI.”

“Good store, decent selection, friendly staff just don't expect things to be cheap. They moved the fashion brands to their own racks so now a nice pairs of used jeans is $25 there! While prices are high they do employ people who need jobs and would struggle to obtain them. They also offer job training thru LaborReady and provide a $25 clothing gift card if you take their dress for the job class.”
