I came into PAWS in July to look at the cats available for adoption. I was able to pet all of the cats and quicky realized that Toonces was the cat that I wanted (loving, playful and beautiful). I looked around at other shelters but none I stuck out like him. I scheduled a meet and greet for him with Savannah, who was working that day. The meet and greet was successful. I filled out the paperwork and they loaned me a pet carrier to get him home. All of Toonces shots were up to date and I even got sent home with some food and one of his blankets. I also appreciate that PAWS pays for their first veterinary appointment. I didn't meet any staff except for Savannah, but she was wonderful. Savannah was very kind, talkative and helpful throughout the process.

They have helped me a lot financially. Now I'm looking for a safe place for my littliest DEMON SLAYER. TIL WE LEAVE HERE.WE HAVE FREED POULSBO OF A LOT OF DEMONS BUT SUFFER REPRECUSSIONS!IT IS SO SAD YHAT THERE ARE SO mANY HATERS WHO ATTACK LITTLE DOGS, WHO ARE JUST PROTECTING THEIR HOMES. WHEREDO THESE PEOPLE COME FROM.? Unfortunately, some are showing their jealousy for the strong and brave that have been nutted with love and care..A KIND THOUGHTS wILL QUIET HER DOWN. BUT SHE HAS BEEN SO scared barking alot , since I have had the Blessings. I think, to receive field medic care I think for cancer , but it s a new field that's has the downfall of notconsent or disclosure, so now I know the fear that they must have when not knowing who's thick and who's thin for them.. it's kindness for even the least please work to to regulate electric guns n laxors. O m going to try reasoning with them this weekend and hope they try shocking themselves into trying to realize the intensity of their electric damage and what it could do to an object much aller. Maybe we need to get out the logic like the difference between licking a battery and melding and deforming todsue. I was knocked off my feet last week with a shot to the headbut it made me a little smarter, aftter time. Be aware of cold or soft warfare from out of Towner's ythoLinda Robinson. And realize tooto always go to the sour, nurturingTrusttt is such a precious commodity, when this sort of thing makes the shortage worse. I'm going to stop reacting with discust and try winning the haters trust,., With peace instead of cussing. I think we all have had too much trust starving.Linda Robinson. , Regulate e guns now

A lovely group of people expert in re-homing cats! We fostered dozens of batches of kittens over the years for PAWS, and got our troup of cats that way. Very fun to drop in to be tempted to adopt a sweet critter.

We dropped off a cat that my GF had owned for over 6 years. The folks at PAWS of Bainbridge Island (PAWS BI) worked with us and even modified their hours to accept our cat to accommodate us as we couldn't make it into the adoption center by their closing hours. Rehoming a cherished pet is very difficult, and the staff at PAWS BI were kind and understanding. We hope someone will adopt our boy as he has been at my GF's side for a long time. My concern for the cat, as well as the other pets housed at PAWS BI is the location: They are located at the far end of BI, and with the price of gas, not so many people are going to want to drive that far to adopt a 6+ year old cat. I hope that the good folks are PAWS BI will consider moving to a location that's closer to the beaten path where most working folks live and frequent.

Our family adopted an older cat from Paws of Bainbridge. We are very happy with our decision to adopt, the cat we adopted is 15 years old and still plays and purrs like a kitten. We liked her name so we never changed it, her name is Cleo Patra. She loves her new home and has put on a few pounds since her adoption, November 6, 2021. We have no other pets, except for Cleo so she’s thriving and we are spoiling her like an only child.

Over the last 20 years, I have been able to depend on PAWS of NK as well as Bainbridge Is for not only my personal pets but also for 2 litters of abandoned kittens. mm most recently I rescued for kitchens from the woods who had been abandoned by their mother. At 2 weeks old, I kept them alive till paws was able to set up a foster cat program for them. In the past pause has covered the cost of my dog's flea medicine more than once. Everyone has been extremely compassionate and understanding. Although it is sometimes hard to reach them, they have been true to what they've been able to help me with,, our communication has been clear and followed up on and the experience has been very positive! Excellent organization, I hope they continue to grow as their services are greatly needed! Thank You PAWS! Sincerely, Kim Kinslow, resident oh B.I. (1978-1995)-Poulsbo, (1999-present)

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the tendencies and temperaments of their cats. They don’t mind if you just want to come in to visit rather than adopt and if you want to adopt you’re free to get to know any cat you like so long as you sanitize your hands between cats. It was such a pleasant experience and we found a sweetie to take home right away, then even lent us a carrier as we didn’t bring ours. We’d been looking for a while with no luck and didn’t think we’d need it, but PAWS had him the whole time! They send you home with a little baggies of food and the adoption process is very easy and simple. It’s even more cost effective to adopt here than the Kitsap humane society. Once our new baby settles in we will definitely be coming back for the next new family members!

PAWS does excellent work with orphaned, those given up (number of reasons) and stray. Provide healthy living conditions, healthy diets and medical care. Answers all your questions and provide animal history for easy adoption.
