We just had my son's birthday party there. I'll start off by saying the kids had a BLAST. We had ages 2 - 15 and they all stayed so busy playing between the two floors. There is many cool activities and stations. It was pretty crowded but it was a Saturday so that's expected. My only negative was the party room. we were moved into the art studio because it was raining and it was fit for toddlers. Tiny chairs and stools, very VERY limited space. There was about 20 of us and not a chance half of us could fit in there at a time. I feel like this place is Amazing For a visit to play, not quite spacious enough for large parties at the price of just under $300.

Nice place, but very few activities. After one or two hours the kids are bored. There was no one to help or guide the kids. It's strange that there was a entrance fee for parents, who had to take their kids to all the areas.

Don’t fool by the name, it is just a small indoor playground instead of a museum…It’s price is ok for just kids but way overpriced for adults who is just companions

Some fun things, felt it was over priced. Were charged for both adults and daughter. The place was small and poorly maintained especially for the price. A few of the books in their library were about choosing your pronouns and all that nonsense (I'm sure this review would spark debate) and I feel that is completely inappropriate especially for a placed geared to such a young age group. So let's have a science learning area but also have books that ignore biology and words we have used to describe biology in a easy to digest manor for many years. Thumbs up "progressives".I'm outa this bee hive.Won't be going back unfortunately

Expensive and misses the mark. Charging adults $9 each on top of the $9 kid fee is ridiculous. They don't even provide adequate seating. The exhibits on the lower level are geared towards the 1-4 year old crowd. Littles will love the tiny grocery store and the little car. The lower floor is fine if your kid is that young but basically renders half the facility useless to a kid 5+. The upstairs consists of weird exhibits that most adults can't really figure out. Nano technology? The "experiments" have nothing to do with the copious amount of explanations on boards no one reads. Other activities are missing pieces, or are broken or have zero explanations. There is just a complete disconnect between how children learn/play and the exhibits upstairs. Bottom line: not a great place for kids 5+ and too much money to justify regular visits. There's potential here to be great but it's just not.

Was heading up to Seattle for the Weekend and decided to stop in for an hour. Was really fun laid back atmosphere. Alden made us feel welcomed and we even got 25% off of admissions for being a member of a children's museum in Oregon . 6 year old and 3 year old enjoyed their time .. the animal scavenger hunt was fun and worth taking time to look for. Would recommend if in the area .. painting hearts at the end was a bonus neat Valentine's Day souvenir

A great day here with 2 yr old grandson. He had a blast so will join now with yearly membership. Plenty to keep him busy and engaged. Inside and outside area.

This is a smaller kids museum, but there is still lots to do and usually the perfect amount of other families visiting. For the four of us to visit 2 hours, it cost around $30. They have a Lego room, tree house, lots of stem toys, space area, play house, pretend vet + bank + grocery, light up wall, train set, kid sized cars, books, art supplies, outdoor climbing and building. There's spots for adults to sit and bathrooms. If you're in the area, it's worth stopping by!

We made a trip to Bainbridge Island to visit this museum m. Overall it's not worth it to ride the ferry just to visit this museum, but if you're in the area, definitely check it out. Past the entrance is an awesome treehouse kids can climb, where a slide is located. Around the tree house are several rooms that model different components of a city: a grocery store, a bank, a vet, and so on. Kids will enjoy sitting in the electric car and "driving." Upstairs is fun as well, with a space station, a light station, and a puppet show area. Tucked by the lantern room is a picture of Harriet Davis who was a key member of the advisory counsel (in memoriam).

This museum is sub par at best... According to parents I spoke to.. while visiting there.. there are no changes made monthly to make it interesting.. the upstairs is taken over by a very large area the most toddlers are bored with.. the children I was with don't even like going upstairs because in their words it's so boring... it's the same old stuff... I think they should have themed months or seasons and invite a local business to come in and collaborate something interactive a d interesting.. membership is pricey for the same old stuff.. I think they are so focused in childcare that they forgot that they need to keep it fresh and interesting for the regulate everyday users.. they could get some ideas from other children's museums.. invite doctors or fireman or police or the local newspaper to come up with ideas to help raise awareness or introduce a job etc.. it would be nice to have an interactive crafting area too.. maybe some information about forest conservation or island life.. what makes Bainbridge or Kitsap peninsular or Washington so unique.. that entire area upstairs is geared towards older kids and your main clientele are ages 1-5 .. come on kidimu let's figure this out.. boring... staff is exceptional snd bathrooms and areas are kept clean.. it's good for an every once in a while visit but your kids will quickly become bored if you come here regularly.

Pretty awesome spot for kids. Small compared to others in this state. Either way both my children had a good time.

Much smaller than I had thought it would be. Of course it was very busy, so I assume that right when they open would be the slower time. The two ladies at the front desk were so so so kind. If it weren't for the chaos it probably would've been a little more enjoyable. To be expected in a kids play place. I LOVED the quality of toys and room themes. The store was their favorite, as was the bank. I would've loved playing here as a kid.The science room upstairs has a big lite bright board which was fun. Overall a good time and a great price.

First floor is still great for kids, but REALLY DISAPPOINTED in what was done to the second floor…used to have some very popular interactives for kids that helped visualize gravity and friction. They have been replaced by boring exhibits of text heavy static ADULT LEVEL displays on the subject of Nanos?. I didn’t know that Nanos could be so captivating and after looking at the exhibits I still don’t know.

Very small but well done for the size they had available. Downstairs is “pretend” section with grocery store, veterinary, bank, ferry, and a small treehouse with slide. Upstairs has the science stuff.

We really enjoyed this place! It was very comfortable, and two floors of fun. Our son is just over 1y/o and he was fully entertained the whole time. We loved that there was an outdoor play area, too, but it was really rainy when we went so kind of cold for us to stay out there too long. There is plenty for older children too. We loved the different stations and all the detailed paintings on the walls.
