Too expensive to stay and eat here (unless you're a fourth through sixth grader in Washington Public Schools), but a beautiful place. Docents give tours of the woods, pond, bog, and a surplus 120' Forest Service fire tower in and a suspension bridge over a wooded ravine. It is administered as a forest preserve and environmental education campus, but the public is admitted once a month.

The coolest 6th grade school field trip adventure I ever went on. I'm 26 now and I still remember nothing but great things from it. I do suggest it to your kids if they like the outdoors and learning. It's very educational. ???

you HAVE to book your event here! This place is so magical, a great break from the city hustle and bustle. Roxanne was a pleasure to work with and get everything situated for our booking. Stephanie was very kind as well and was always available to answer any questions. My only negative was the A/V rep was not there at the start of our event and I was advised they were supposed to show up later in the day - but I am tech savvy so I was able to figure out how to set up our presentation. The food was great, especially breakfast. Sean was incredible, he was super kind and was on top of everything when it came to the food and drinks. Thank you all for hosting our event, we look forward to holding more there in the future!

A real gem. This non-profit environmental education organization has 255 acres on Bainbridge Island. Love finding opportunities to visit.

We photographed a wedding the other weekend at IslandWood and, as usual, they absolutely NAILED the service, food, organization, literally every part of the day. This place knows what they are doing, and we absolutely love photographing here! It's simply gorgeous!

Amazing property & the staff is such a pleasure to work with!!! All staff is so friendly and so helpful!!! I can’t say enough good things about the staff - they’re amazing!!Food is excellent and they are so accommodating of diets and allergies! Just ask!!! And all the desserts are phenomenal! This was my second time going to the property and it was wonderful!!! The property is filled with many hiking trails of all levels! They have access for paved ways, etc. It’s an amazing place conveniently located just a ferry ride away from seattle!Rooms are spacious and clean! No complaints- beds and pillows were fine.

I absolutely loved this resort. Our group had a retreat here. The food was delicious. They use so many good nutritional vegetables. But I think they actually grew themselves in their garden. They have lots of fun areas. Good hiking paths. Our rooms were comfortable. I loved the friendship circle which is where we had our fire pit and did our group gathering a lot of the time. Our room also had a laundry facility that we were able to use to clean our clothes. They have a lot of fun hiking areas where you can hike either to a suspension Bridge, a treehouse, fire, Tower, or the lake. I would definitely come back here again if I could. I highly recommend it for other people. They have a parking lot for people who drive not sure if that cost more if you bring your car since our group took a bus to and from the airport. You do need to take a ferry to get to this location. The fairy cost is only like $9. It's hard to find transportation on the islands so I highly recommend renting a car.
