For whatever reason, Google doesn't want to update that this is closed. Even though I have submitted it 3 times to edit this listing for like over a month. It's been closed now for a while, and there are holes in the roof like it was from a fire. Google needs to show this place as closed.

This location is so under staffed, the young professional gentleman managing this store is there 7 days a week 13 hours a day but still continues to work his hardest and providing above and beyond acceptable customer service while being a great manager to his employees. These people at this store deserve a huge reward especially that hard working young man! Way to go 917!

We've rented from here multiple times in the past couple years. The couple times prior to today, my wife or mother in law picked up the trucks we reserved and dropped off without any hassle, issue or headache. Today I happened to pick up the reserved truck for a smaller move with just my brother and I. The 2 ladies working were an absolute pleasure during pickup, and made things super clear, straightforward and easy. Drop off was very smooth and the cost was very fair.I wouldn't bother to write this review if it wasn't for their awesome staff, even though they'd still deserve a 5 star if they had no personality and got me what I needed as easily as they did.

This by far has a amazing staff. Ever time I go into the place they always greet me. Never no attitude always friendly . I went in there a couple times and I was having a bad day . The staff made my day better they don't judge you or make you feel worse then you already do they don't look at me crazy like my experience with other places like this I just want to tell them thank you and this store gets 5 stars from me

Calling and getting a reservation was easy but you shouldn't advertise that hitches can be done 7 days a week if you can't have anyone working there to do it unless they were just lazy. Bad for business!

If i can give this place a zero star I would . customer service is horrible . only reason why I go is to refill the propane tank & it's convenient, nearby . But, it'll be my last time going. Service is in between bad and worse. Employees have bad attitude, act as if we are bothering them, when we are providing them business. don't waste your time and just go else where .

A big TEN THUMBS UP to the two young ladies reps at the uhaul 917 auburn way s.. Their system was down, but not their customer service, our truck went totally dead, and one of the young ladies follow us back to the truck helped us get everything done! We are a senior citizen couple, and she never looked bothered or upset!! Wow, you guys have a great couple of reps working there, and please give them a big THANK YOU AND BLESSINGS from the Alexander’s.

This location has shown me impeccable customer service. Brandon helped me and my SO with picking up a reserved car dolly. There were no issues he even replaced a fuse when he was setting up the adapter for the lights. I could not have had a better interaction and I will remember to come here again if I need anything from Uhaul.

The dispatcher was extremely helpful to set up the rental of an auto transport trailer. The technicians in the officer were extremely helpful to get me set up and on the road. They even set up the and attached the trailer for me. Have heard negative stories about rental nightmares but this location was friendly helpful and easy! Absolutely would repeat business!! A+

I was over charged even tho I brought the truck back to the same spot I picked it up same day (so it should be cheaper) and they charged me over $200 and then tried to say I smoked in the truck which isn’t true so they charged me another $30, don’t ever use Uhaul ever I didn’t smoke in their truck and no one else was with me in the truck smoking either they just lie and try to take your money stay away from the fat white chick at the front desk she is the one who gives people problems

So i reserve a truck and get there for them to tell me i have to pay with card first then i can pay with cash later.. even though i came in a month ago paid for a truck with cash no problems but noo not this time use a differnt company

U-Haul We scheduled an on-line truck pickup on Monday, Feb 8th: Reservation #: 23059505 Requested Pick Up Location: West Coast Self Storage Auburn 4424 A St SE Auburn, WA 98002 Date & Time: Monday, February 8, 2021 at 1:30 PM Rental Period: 4 hours Equipment: 10' Truc When I arrived to pick up, they said they didn't have a truck available. Why did UHaul allow us to make a reservation without having a truck available and cause us to make an unnecessary trip as well as waste our time. They said I needed to call UHaul (253-859-3729). I called and they reserved a truck at another local store: Copy of text - "Due to COVID-19, we are encouraging every customer to fully complete the Online Check-in at Your U-Haul res 23059505 is sched. at 917 AUBURN WY S in AUBURN at 1:30 PM on Monday, February 8, 2021. Call (253) 939-9200 to confirm." When I arrived at this UHaul store, I was asked by David Knoetgen for a 2nd phone #. I told him I didn't have a 2nd phone #, and I shared with him that in all my prior rentals I've never been asked for a 2nd phone # before. He stated that the other stores weren't following the rules and if I wanted to rent a truck from his location, I'd need to give him a 2nd phone #. His pompous, arrogant, "I'm in charge" and "I am not going to make any exceptions" attitude was such a poor reflection on your organization. I asked for the name of the General Manager or District Manager. I was shocked when he said he was the Manager. Perhaps it would have been easier to lie and provide a bogus phone # but I didn't realize that your company's lack of consistency, lack of common sense, and lack of making good business decisions via exceptions based on our previous long term relationship & the amount of money we've spent with UHaul. I asked for his boss's name & contact #, and David provided me Andrew Salts name but said he didn't have his boss's #. He said I'd need to call 1-800-GoUHaul. He said he didn't have the phone # for his boss which I later learned was a lie. What employee in any organization doesn't have his boss's phone #? I called 1-800-UHaul, spoke with Tash who was insensitive, rude & not helpful. She offered no empathy and said her company's policy requires 2 phone #s, no exceptions. She had no answer as to why I rented several times before with no 2nd phone #. I asked to speak with her supervisor. Nora then picked up the call. When I asked Nora if she was Tash's supervisor, she said no. She also stated that she wasn't even a supervisor. Another lie. Why did Tash lie about getting her supervisor. Tash is another great example of the people you should hire if you want to kill your business and brand. Nora took my complaint. I asked to have Andrew Salts call me directly. She said she would document and send him the request. Nora then transferred me to someone who scheduled a truck pick up for Tuesday, Feb 9th at a nearby, further away, UHaul store: Copy of text - "Due to COVID-19, we are encouraging every customer to fully complete the Online Check-in at Your U-Haul res 23059505 is sched. at 5110 FRONTAGE RD NW in AUBURN at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Call (253) 850-4396 to confirm." On Tuesday, Feb 9th, I picked up and dropped off the truck with no request of a 2nd phone #. The store rep was kind & processional and there were no issues, no concerns although I was forced to pay $18+ more in mileage because this store was further away. Normally, I'd never go back to a business after receiving such poor service from the 917 Auburn Way S, Auburn WA UHaul store. The purpose was to prove that I have rented multiple times before with no 2nd phone # issues, and I was able to rent after the terrible experience with David Knoetgen at your 917 Auburn Way S store again with no 2nd phone # issues and that if there is indeed a policy, it obviously can be waived at one's reasonable discretion or good business common sense.
