Do not feel welcome. Brought my animal...she provides as service. I had one guy approach and let me know the "rules" not even 2 minutes later a guy walked up started to pet my animals as I'm trying to re train for a new home group I dismissed him in the most polite way I could. But the fact that I'm searching for help and you people attack me for having a ptsd animal is bullshit... AA my shins...

I really enjoy most of the meetings I go to here. I really like that atmosphere, they are welcoming. And they have a little expresso shop and TV and pool tables

I've been coming here since 2000. First, because a judge made me. Less than 6 months later another judge made me. I went to the meetings but didn't interact with anyone. Fast forward to a little over 5 years ago. 2 divorces, laws broken, family members and my kids hurt by my actions, and ultimately homelessness. So I went back. Detoxed myself over 3 days, slept overnight in my car in their parking lot, and went to meetings all day every day. This time I took it seriously. I got involved. Met people. Chaired meetings. Got a sponsor. The So King County Alano Club, God, and my sponsor saved my life. I'm now over 5 years clean, I manage a clean and sober house, I'm back to work in my career field, and living life. This place means everything to me. There are meetings going on all day every day. Friday night karaoke. Pool tables. Coffee and snack bar. And a bookshop that's operated by a man who I now consider family.

If you're try to get, or continuing to be Sober and clean or know of one who needs direction of where to go to do so, this is a great place.
Lots of AA and NA meetings, there are also GA and OA groups that meet here as well.

I have been going to the South King Alano Club for 9 years now. It is a very clean establishment with many different AA meetings. I go to the veterans candlelight AA meeting held on Thursday nights from 7:00 p.m. to when it's over. The last Thursday of each month is a birthday meeting served with coffee and ice cream cake. I recommend the South King Alano Club to all that have a desire to stay clean and sober.
