I worked there for years, and I loved it. Helping people find clothes that they loved, and, would pay a pretty penny, as they lasted for many years- for was very meaningful. I owe much of my work experience to this store. If still in business, I would recommend a visit. (pictures from years past)

I came into the store to find a suit for my brother (who will be marring me). We were helped by Priscilla who quickly sized my brother up and had him trying on jackets, pants, shirts, etc. We brought in a Mariner's tie that she helped us coordinate with a square for the pocket. The tailor came down and customized the fit. There is no additional charge for tailoring. Everything was seamless and comfortable. They didn't push to buy extras (belt, shoes, etc). I would highly recommend the place. I'm sure it costs more than other places, but the customer service and feeling of a local business is worth it. Thank you to Priscilla Hays & the other folks that helped us. I feel confident that the suit is going to be great, I can cross that off my list.

My Dr. suggested I go here in Auburn for some orthotics since my existing insurance doesn't cover what's been proven as a medical need to have custom orthotics made. He was trying to help by suggesting this store, but he made is seem like they do some unusual custom fit ortho's for less. I was disappointed and certain don't know where I came to that conclusion. I walked in the door and discovered It was mostly a retail clothing shop with a very expensive shoe department and I'm not talking about the couture fashion style. I'm talking fuddy duddy. The feeling I got was that the store was for the senior crowd. I saw the label 'Cutter and Buck' so that's where I got that opinion. The only thing they had was the Surefeet inserts. I already had a pair of the suggested green insert within that brand, so I didn't need another pair. I left but I guess if I can't find that orthotic brand anywhere else, I could go here. When I didn't want to buy a pair, the woman that was helping me was acting like what you would see in a movie when someone decides not to buy..they get an attitude like they were in Beverly Hills and you the customer wore rags. I just don't see the need to go back there. I'm pretty certain I can find the Surefeet brand elsewhere.

Ladies, ask for Susan. She's the best and will make sure you leave with clothes and accessories that make you feel beautiful and sexy, no matter what shape or how old you are! Customer service here is excellent. That is all you need to know. Not get shopping!

This is simply the very best place to shop for men's or women's clothing! And shoes! The entire staff is very, very helpful and caring. Sizes from small (I don't look there) and petite to 3x for ladies and the same type for men, Need a tux? They can help. Need a fancy dress/outfit? They have that. Just want to browse? They'll show you what's new. This is quality clothing that lasts; I have jeans that I've had 5+ years that look as good as the day I bought them (unlike those places that sell stuff very cheaply that wears out before the season ends). You won't be disappointed.

A haberdashery in the best tradition ... needed larger size suit for funeral ... my old stuff no longer fit. Called Rottles in the late afternoon ... came in the following morning to select a suit ... it was ready that afternoon! Less than 24 hours!! Quality items, fair prices and superb service. I've brought friends to the store ... a saleslady recognizes me by name and asked how my Canadian friend was doing - she hadn't been to Rottles in over a year. Just can't say enough good things ... its a treasure ... when you visit the place, you'll feel like the good old days never ended.

Rottle's has very nice quality clothing and accessories. I've shopped there several times when I didn't want to fight mall traffic to go to Nordstrom. The service matches Nordstrom's also -- it's so nice to be able to try on things in the dressing room without having to get redressed to swap out something that is the wrong size!! They are very helpful and attentive, brought other items that I had not seen in the store into the dressing room for me, exchanged wrong size items so that I didn't have to get redressed, and made me feel welcome. For Christmas, I gave my husband a few ideas and suggested he go to Rottle's since they gave great service -- they helped him find something that was exactly what I would have bought for myself (correct size too!).

Adorable family-run business that has been an integral part of Auburn for a long time. My fiancee and I stopped in to Rottles recently to check out their selection of tuxedos for rent since we're getting married this October. We speak with Jim Rottle, one of the brothers that owns the store. He is super helpful and assists us in making our decision to go through them for our tuxes without visiting any other tux shops, they were that confident and reassuring. Plus they're local and if we have any problems we could walk there from our house which makes it much less stressful. We decide to check out the shoe clearance upstairs before we leave. My fiancee finds an unmarked pair of golf shoes. The lady working in the shoe department decides there on the spot that she's going to charge us $19 for the golf shoes. Now that's a deal! It was just so nice to experience the small town business transaction I thought I'd never experience in my life.
