I have filed with this location for a few years now and normally I had a specific rep I’d deal with but this year she wasn’t there so I tried out the online filing option for the first time ever. I filed in January and was told that I should hear back within 5 business days, a week past and I hadn’t heard anything so I messaged my rep directly another few days go by with no response or update. I then decided to call and see what’s going on if I needed to do anything, the receptionist stated she didn’t know and a specialist wasn’t available currently but took my number to have them call me back in 30 minutes when the specialist was done. Needless to say that call back never happened. I waited and called again a few days later and again was told the same thing, specialist wasn’t available would call me back. I made sure to let the receptionist know that I was told the same thing prior and nothing had happened so I really wanted her to make sure I got called back, she agreed I still never got a call back. So I called again and demanded to speak with someone stating I would not be getting off the phone until I could finally I got some answers but was told that nobody had even started them so she would take on my taxes she told me what I needed to do I got it done and luckily it all got filled finally two to three weeks after filing mind you ?. I then later called back because I couldn’t locate which direct deposit I had on file and again “specialist is busy they will call you back” guess what never happened ? the customer service is AWFUL and I’m over it I called today and asked to speak with a manager and got told she wasn’t in again they took my name and number down and supposedly sent a message to the manager asking her to contact me first thing Monday morning. I will update then??♀️ but it feels like H&R Block is just going down the drain with customer service they simply do not care about their customers at all anymore and I messaged my old rep she told me that this happens often that’s why she left!
