When we rented a Tesla, we did our own inspection of the vehicle before taking it, even though they assured us every thing was in good order. We found the tires had very low pressure 29lbs - 33lbs per tire instead of the 42lbs per tire it should have been. When it was brought to their attention the guy said “it’s a Tesla, the tires don’t take air”, what?! We also asked about washer fluid because we saw a pop up notification the washer fluid tank was low, we were told that they didn’t have washer fluid on the premise. A couple of days later, when it was raining, it became apparent the the wiper blades needed to be replaced as all the ones on the car did was streak the windshield so badly it was difficult to see out of it. We received the vehicle with an 86% charge and returned it with a 95% charge, according to the Hertz website if it’s returned with the same or higher charge then when it was received there would be no additional charge, yet the manager on duty charged us a $4.54 fuel surcharge. When we disputed it at the counter they said they would cancel the transaction. Today we got notification from our bank that the charge had in fact gone through. Be wary of doing business with this location and do your due diligence to insure the vehicle you are receiving is in the condition they claim it to be in. I would not recommend renting from Auburn, WA location.

Got reservation for days and on the day of my car pick up they said that they don’t have enough cars and I’m on 11th on wait list. The guy was also rude when i try to follow up if they got cars as if I’m the one who’s at fault. Try other branch. Federal way is much better

Only because I cannot give zero stars. We had a our reservation made a few days ahead of time. Planning a trip to Vancouver BC, show up at my appointed time and they had no cars. This blows my mind, and was unfortunate. However had they called me even a half hour ahead of time I could have canceled our hotel room, but of course they did not so I am also out $200.When I asked that they are telling me there are no cars she offered "that's my bad" whatever the heck that means. Totally unprofessional.

Got the car I needed with no hassle.Enterprise on the other hand, was no help as they didn't even have cars to offer after taking my reservation.

Had a concert in Spokane drove until said we need electricity we charged it for over 30 minutes got to Clean Ellum and went downtown 1%pulled into a gas station to try and find a charging station. The info on the site provided was not helpful. Found out there was one about a mile up the road and had to pay $100 for a tow . Sat for over 2 hours to charge the vehicle and.issed out on the concert.. was able to get credit for 2nd day of rental but not enough for wasted time and . money

A week ago we reserved a car at this Hertz location to pick up the car at 9am. And at 8:30am on July 3rd I got a call from Paul Shine saying the car wouldn't be ready till 11:30. I called back at 11:30 to make sure the car was ready and noone was picking up the phone. I decided to go at 1pm and the car was in the lot but there was no key to access the car. They kept telling me the previous customer would return the keys but the previous customer didn't turn up becauseshe was on a plane to enjoy her vacation. She was havibg her daughterdrop who could carelessabout droppingoff the keys. By 1:45 I had to cancel the rental car because they weren't sure if the previous customer would show up with the key. The people working here had no remorse for how this would affect our vacation and they could not hold up their end of the contract. When I called to speak to the manager at the Puyallup Hertz Amanda Anderson she wasn't available and I had to talk to someone else. When I was telling her they didn't hold up their end of the contract she hung up on me. This just shows the disastrous customer service Hertz gives. If I could give a 0 star would do in a heart beat. Clearly they don't give a dam!

This location recently reopened and they have really made some positive improvements. Paul at the front desk was extremely attentive and polite. Every car rental place within a 50 mile radius was out of cars for at least 2 more days and even 5 in some cases. Paul was able to get me in a newer reliable vehicle that same day, and actually immediately. I was even able to extend my rental be 5 days with no problem. I appreciate the ease of access and the stellar customer service. We will be renting from Hertz from now on. Thank you!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This office is a ghost town. No one is around during office hours despite having a reservation made online. Can’t get through by phone either with voice box not setup. I’m done with Hertz if this is run their rental offices.

I would give 0 star if it's possible. I reserved and prepaid a minivan through Hertz website on 4/30 for the family trip on 6/5. They called and notified me that a minivan is not available on 6/5 and it will be available on 6/6. I had to reschedule the trip but decided to wait for the minivan. I showed to pick up the minivan today then, of course, no minivan is available again. The onsite staff claimed they could not help nor provide a refund given I had prepaid and directed me to a 1-800 number instead. No one could be bothered that our trip had to be canceled and there was no semblance of responsibility from anyone. I obviously will take my business elsewhere in the future and suggest others do the same, especially for any reservations of great importance.

I was speaking with a agent that from the way he stuttered around made me feel this company was ran by idiots ,never had I spoke with a representative of a major company that had such low intelligence, he couldn't even answer a simple question, it seemed like he was reading a script, I am very disappointed in the professionalism of this representative.

This location's online interaction was terribly unprofessional. It was the only place in the area at which I could find a car available. After getting a $70 taxi/uber to the location, where I had a confirmed reservation AND it was listed as open online I arrived to find it closed with a note on the door. Waste of time and money. Inconsiderate.
