The owner is rude and has made false accusations abt my grandmother ‘intimidating’ her costumers and almost gone in our house and has put weed killer around our house which is most likely unsafe for our dogs and has tried intimidating us with her boyfriend that came around with her.

Tamie is the best at what she does. She has been doing my father's hair for 40 years, mine for close to 20 and and now my kids! We love her! I'm very OCD and don't trust many people with my hair, tamie is the only one I allow to do my hair!

Tammy Lynn is a rock star. She makes you feel like old friends from the moment you relax into her chair. The salon is very cute. Stylish older city home. I will be a repeat customer undoubtedly. Highly recommend!

With my curly hair, I've always ended up with a shapeless hack job or a pyramid-shaped head. No wonder I've hated a trip to the stylist! Then I tried First Impressions. I can't remember the last time a stylist invested the time and effort that Cindy did with me today. And the result? Ions better than I've had for years. Cindy was knowledgeable, clearly skilled, and fun to talk with as well. Great cut, first-rate experience. I'll be back.

Cute and comfy little salon. The ladies were great. Super friendly, funny, and they listened to what I wanted. Cindy is who did my hair. She did an amazing job. I walked out loving my new style and color!! Little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for!!

Tamie is the best! I've been going to her since I was a child, my father has been going to her for as long as I can remember and now my daughter to goes to her. Tamie is the ONLY person I trust with my hair and whenever I experiment with different colors she is always the one to bring my hair back to my natural blonde without damage. Shes AMAZING!!!!

Yelp keeps removing my review. Probably will remove this too. This time its not enough detail. Although, as a customer service business, making people supremely uncomfortable IS part of that awful customer service. I can only imagine Tamie is complaining about it, as she's removed my review of her on her Facebook as well. The owner Tamie, is unprofessional. When she met me, and Jenn told her I was my mother's daughter(my mom is white and also a client) she doesn't say hi, she doesn't say nice to meet you, she says "why are you so dark?" Ummm...what? (My dad is Puerto Rican) Who says that?! She still thinks using the term "colored " is acceptable! She has men she's met online meet her at the salon for dates, not caring that she's making clients and employees uncomfortable . She talks about clients with other clients. She'll make me pay for a service before it's complete if she's leaving before my stylist is done. She let go of her best employee after 11 years of loyalty! How do you devalue someone who has given you a 3rd of their life?! Big mistake as I, and many many other clients will be following Jenn as she was the only reason we put up her.

The only reason I gave this place a chance is gone, now, as Tammy decided to fire Jenn--an employee listed by name in HALF her positive yelp reviews. Jenn's cut and color work are terrific and her upbeat, chat was my favorite part of the experience! She's so Nice! And TALENTED! She does incredible cuts for curls, always keeping mind shrinkage and breakage on curly hair, which is drier and harder to care for. Tammy, however, is terribly judgmental and talks about staff AND CLIENTS behind their back to other clients. She has ZERO filter and acts like a teenager in the throes of puberty with every new guy she meets--again, something the WHOLE salon is stuck listening too because it is, unquestionably, the Tammy Show when she is present. She doesn't seem to care about how juvenile and unprofessional this looks because, it's pretty apparent, she views the people who work for her and come to her business as a captive audience for her drama. I'll follow the STYLIST, thanks, and ditch the dramatic diva of a salon owner, thanks. I suggest you do the same
