Very kind people. Made my first experience with them very nice despite the circumstances being there. The vet was very thorough and explained the X-rays and issues to me very clearly. You can tell she cares a lot about the animals she treats which is so relieving given previous vet experiences elsewhere!
I also like that they discussed pricing of the X-rays and prescriptions etc beforehand and weren’t pushy with anything.

This clinic is the absolute best I have ever experienced. I have 4 cats and a dog and they all go to this vet. I have an amazing relationship with Dr. Deb and truly trust her and her husband Dr. Kyle with my babies. They are extremely knowledgeable, caring and always show my babies all the love when examining them. Dr. Deb has saved one of my sister in law’s cats from FIP. Any time there has been an issue with any of my pets, she has always pin pointed right away what is going on and gets them treated right away. Everyone in the hospital is super sweet and caring and always love on my babies when I bring them in. I will never take my pets anywhere else!

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years and our experience has been great every single time. My dog is reactive so I’ve always been a little nervous to bring her to a vet where there will be other dogs. The staff here take that seriously and help ensure my dog doesn’t run into any other dogs when we come in for appointments. I’ve seen 3 different vets here and all have been friendly, caring, happy to answer questions, and very knowledgeable. The front staff are always really kind and responsive, even if you email them they will answer very promptly. The pricing is transparent and fair. I would recommend this vet to any friend.

I really wanted to like this place...
If she says "oh, your dog might have this or that. Do this treatment, Do this surgery", I strongly advise you to go for a second opinion for your own sake. I really mean it.
I had 3 incidents happens so far regarding; lack in constancy in doctors, suggesting on unnecessary surgeries, unnecessary treatments, unnecessary tests.
Plus regular medical checkup, it turned out to be not properly examined at all! At all!
Those incidents have been revealed by another vet. If you care about your animal, you might need to find an another vet.

Kind and caring. Brought my little very sick stray kitten in. He'd pooped all over himself in his crate. No problem!! Ladies took him back and washed him before his apt! I thought I would have to do it..it's the little things that make a place stand out.

They might be great, but over the last 20 years I have lived in Auburn, and multiple attempts to reach out to a local pet hospital, never got past reaching out cause the response has turned me off.
Since 2020, had 3 pet emergencies that I needed a "pet hospital" & started here cause local. On all occassions, they didn't "open" until emergancy hours so had to drive to Renton Blue Pearl. So, to me it doesn't feel like a veterinary hospital as much as a veterinary that's only open during peak gouging emergancy times.
Save the call and just go to Blue Pearl or Sumner veterinary hospital if need a "hospital" for your pet.

My family have been going to this vet for years, and they have always been great. But now, two years after the fact, I still cannot get over what happened to my little dog, Jackie, and what should have been done that wasn’t.I understand that dogs are just like people, diagnoses can be hard. And it’s undoubtedly even harder for a vet than a doctor, since they have to be able to help a wide variety of animals. Even so, the more I read up on it over the years, the more I think that what happened to Jackie should not have happened. He was a small dog, a rescue and at least ten years old. He had never been the healthiest dog, he had a persistent cough and occasional diarrhea, but he clearly enjoyed life. Up until that point on that day, he had been his usual happy-go-lucky self. One of my family members sat on him, which has happened before and at first no one noticed anything wrong.Eventually I reached down to pet him and noticed he was stock-still, he was trembling and his belly was rock hard. We thought at first that he must have eaten something bad, but of course it was a weekend and in our area there aren’t even emergency vets open (or they’re completely full). So it had to wait until we found the nearest place with an opening, I think a day and a half later. They couldn’t find anything wrong with him, gave him some fluids and pain meds and sent him home. His condition continued to deteriorate. He couldn’t walk properly. He seemed to have no strength in his back legs. He couldn’t poop. His body was still rigid and he was shaking constantly. We took him in to Auburn South as soon as we could get an appointment. They agreed to give him pain meds and monitor him overnight, but they couldn’t find anything wrong either, so they sent him home with some more pain meds. And that was it.He just got worse after that. At first he would lap a little milk, but after that we couldn’t tempt him with any kind of food. He would only drink a sip or two of water before giving up. So of course, we couldn’t get him to take the pain pills. He started losing control of his bladder, so he wasn’t just in pain and hungry but now constantly wet and shivering in his own pee, no matter how frequently we cleaned him and wrapped him in towels and blankets. We tried to give him as much time as we could to recover from whatever was wrong, but it was clear that he just didn’t have the strength on his own, unable to eat and barely able to get up. One night he wandered into my room, even though he was still obviously in pain and shaking. Normally he wouldn’t do that. But to me, it seemed like he was telling me he was tired. He didn’t want to feel this way anymore. He needed help, but it wasn’t help I could give him. It was the worst moment of my life. We decided the next day we couldn’t let it go on anymore, and we brought him in to be put down.I now think it is likely that he had a pinched nerve in his back. I don’t know dog physiology, obviously, but from what I can glean, that’s what the symptoms sound most like. He couldn’t recover because he was unable to eat or relax the muscles on his own. I understand that if it were a soft tissue injury, it might not show up on an x-ray. But it can’t possibly be that rare of an injury for a small, older dog. They knew he was having trouble eating, but they sent him home with oral pain meds. They could have kept him for a few days instead of just one, giving him intravenous nutrition and pain meds/muscle relaxers, but they didn’t. This vet has always been great to us, but I’m never going to accept what happened, because more than anything else, they were never able to tell us what was wrong.
