Jake Hanes is the best CPA in WA. He specializes in helping business owners and gives incredible advice. He is kind, thorough and provides a wealth of expertise. I've worked with him for several years now. I cannot recommend Action Tax enough especially if you are a business owner.

I saw the review on here from 2012 about Action tax refusing to take responsibility for their errors. Well it's still happening in 2024, their mistakes are costing our small business thousands of dollars. I have proof of their mistakes and will register a complaint with BBB. They don't have a process to check their own mistakes. I should have reacted sooner when they kept asking me for access to banks and payment apps that I already had given them access to. I will email information needed only to be asked for it again by a different person. Proceed with caution, double check their work.

This place is sketchy. I went in for a consultation with Nisha, didn’t sign up for their services because she kept changing her prices during that conversation. 6 months later, they billed me $250 with them saying that I agreed and signed up for them to do my basic book keeping. Apparently they think it’s fine to forge signatures.Take your business elsewhere!

Do not use, bad communication, bad service, no accountability. I'm having to have my 2021 taxes amended because he did such a poor job. Avoid this accountant, he will cost you additional dollars which I'm having to pay now to redo his work.

Jake and Corrie are great. I have been going for about 5 years now. Great customer service, outstanding Accountants, always helpful and they do an excellent job every year! I will continue with action Tax as long as I live in Washington.

Too busy, hit or miss team. I approached them since a few folks recommended to me to talk to them. Apart from the first time (during client acquisition), the team didn’t have any time to come on phone. All the conversations were email.Moreover I provide them tax docs weeks in advance but they were too busy to file. Last 2 days of tax filing period, the accountant comes back with 10x the tax estimate without any justification for why it is so when nothing substantial has changed in my income situation.

Very quick and easy to work with. A little expensive
