A small scenic spot in the middle from Mount Rainier to Olympia, about a 15-minute drive from the town of Ashford. It is free to visit. There is a gift shop in the middle. There are many turfs in front and behind the gift shop. The owner of the house used the waste to design a huge sculpture installation art. A small attraction while traveling.

I’ve passed by this place multiple times and always thought it interesting so, on my way to Yakima I hit a U-turn and stopped by.
I spent probably about 30 minutes here looking at the sculptures and I am very happy I did. I’m a sucker for art museums and I am always inspired by how creative people can be.
If you have a chance swing by, you won’t be disappointed and I’m sure you’ll leave inspired

It was closed when we got there but it still gets 5 stars!
How amazing seeing all the art work and they just let us walk around and enjoy it while they are closed for the day.
Looks like they have a little store you can go into when it’s open but the grounds are just as good if not better.
In the back of the yard is a cemetery and it is so special! There are tributes to his mother and friends and a kitty too.
This person has found a passion, perfected it and decided to share it with the world.
I could walk the grounds and imagine who Dan is and how wonderfully unique he must be.
Dan if you ever read this thank you so much for being who you are.

What a cool and surprising roadside find on the way to Mt. Rainier National Park. This artist has filled his large property with a lifetime of passion projects utilizing recycled iron. Pieces span the gamut from animals to machinery to social commentary and even the risque. Admission is free, though you can donate if you like. Highly recommended for a 30-minute stop and stretch break.

Don't miss your chance to see this one of a kind sculpture garden walk through.Make sure to leave a donation so Dan can continue making his art and sharing it with the world.Although I live in Illinois, I've been there several times. The sculptures are amazing and fun. It's a family friendly spot to wander around, amuse and amaze and take pics of the imaginative and clever sculptures.

Dan Klennert is a wonderful sculptor in iron but also with recycled wood and other materials his garden is his gallery you will get a sense the man in his work, his humor also in certain pieces and his reverence for creation in others the placement through his property is perfect too, You can leave donations or buy something at the store at the location

For art lovers, for sculpture lovers, for people on their way to Rainier, for welders, this place is a cool stop for anyone! We took too many pictures with the sculptures and don't forget to check out the back! We were about to leave without even seeing the backyard had we not seen people walking up from it. Such a cool spot to relax and enjoy some decades of personal art.
