Alexander's Lodge At Mt Rainier offers a charming and historic retreat just minutes from the Nisqually entrance of Mount Rainier National Park. Built in 1912, the lodge retains its old-world charm, providing a unique and nostalgic atmosphere for guests. The rooms are small but very clean, well kept, and feature comfortable beds with clean bedding and excellent pillows. Many guests appreciate the cozy ambiance, the presence of Google home smart speakers, and the large, inviting parlor with oversized chess, movies, a fireplace, and plenty of couches for relaxing and socializing. The lodge's location is remote and exceptional, making it a perfect base for exploring Mount Rainier. The grounds include a pond with many trout, where visitors can feed the fish, and a trail that offers a 30-minute walk through the woods. There is also a Yurt located up in the woods, which guests look forward to staying in. The property offers beautiful grounds, a large pond, and the chance to see wildlife such as river otters. Customer service is highly praised, with staff being friendly, helpful, and going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Guests often receive free upgrades, late checkouts, and last-minute accommodations. The lodge is a great choice for families, especially in winter when the area is especially remote and peaceful. Breakfast is a simple, pre-packaged option that can be ordered online, though guests are encouraged to bring their own food due to seasonal restaurant closures. Overall, Alexander's Lodge provides a cozy, historic, and welcoming experience, with many guests planning to return year after year.

Hotel onsite manager was friendly and helpful. Hotel was quaint, nastaligic if you like old Mtn Rainier history. So close to Mtn Rainier Longmire entrance which made it easy access. Bed comfortable and room was clean. Light Breakfast was perfect. Would stay again.
