For years my family and I loved going to this store until recently. A few weeks ago my 24yo daughter & I stopped in cause we saw a nice piece of furniture posted on their FB page. When we went in the woman behind the counter didn't greet us but she watched us like a hawk! She seemed to be almost following us around & we overheard her tell the other lady to look at the footage upstairs after we came down. We felt so uncomfortable the whole time we were there! We've never seen these employees before, we believe it's under new ownership now. We will not be returning.

Lovely shop with way more inventory than it seems from the outside and well organized. Reasonable prices. Friendly shopkeep. Wish I lived closer - I hope to be back!

Something for everyone! So much fun. The new ow ers are really taking it up 10 notches and I can't wait to watch it grow. The new vendors are 10/10. They've even got Olive Branch Laserworks in there! ???

The new owners are so nice. Some amazing lady and gentleman just bought the store and they are so nice. We had 10$ and the things that we were buying were 10$ we were worried about tax and the amazing lady that was working there just covers it for us. Don’t be scared to go in anymore being worried that you might be kicked out because there are new lovely owners

Great store. Each of the many vendors have their own specialties and it's tons of fun poking around!

They have a really cute variety of stuff, handmade and vintage. Pretty fair prices on most stuff. A little cluttered. The merchandise is super cool but the customer service is questionable. The owners don't seem very happy to be here and even less happy that you are. For a small town local shop, I feel like the they should go out of their way to welcome you in and welcome you back. I do not feel this here. But I love the vendor's stuff, so I will go back.

I've been going to Sassafras for years now and I recently visited the store with my two boys and one of their friends. All three of the boys were so excited, they had their own wallets and wanted to buy a toy. They knew exactly where the toys were and went upstairs to pick a toy out to buy. We were there for no longer than a few minutes and I heard an older gentleman telling them they couldn't be up they playing and asking them to leave. All three of the boys were so upset, they tried telling him that they weren't playing, they were looking for cool toys. The older gentleman wouldn't listen to them. It was really sad and honestly very disappointed the way this man treated my boys and their friend. I've lived in this community my whole life and raise my boys to be responsible and respectful, especially to their elders. I told them to just say yes Sir. We left, and I'll never go back or give this store my business ever again. I'm very bummed about this, but the way he treated them was just wrong.

I was here with my wife. It was an eclectic store with lots of different things. We sort of stopped there on a whim. It was worth to stop and they had lots of interesting things to look at.

I tried to come in on Wednesday the 8th with a couple friends to buy some decor for my wedding coming up when we were almost immediately kicked out by an older gentleman. He told us to read the sign on the door which said only 2 students, and I told him we were not students and that we were all over the age of 20. I have been to this place a while back as I grew up in Arlington and I knew there were going to be cool things. We left without much fuss, but I was super bummed out. After some research I found out about the truancy issues which I can understand is frustrating for shop owners, but this guy did not care what we said and I assume he thought we were lying.
