I called to find out why my account had some questionable fees and charges levied against it.The person said his name was William and he was the manager.This person did not seem to know how to verify a call in client. I am normally verified with 3-4 questions. He seemed to be searching the computer for the next thing to say, wasting my time. And he is a manager at KeyBank??? Now I understand why the other reviews are so low. I agree with the other reviewers, time to move on.

I'm shocked to see the bad reviews here. These people are always super friendly and real to me. They helped me get a credit card and they remembered my name when I walked in. Surprised they remembered my name because I'm not filthy rich. .........and in response to the comment about homeless people. I don't see homeless people on the property and what do you expect these days? There is homeless people everywhere.

If I could select 0 stars I would !!! I switched to this bank thinking it'd be more convenient since it's who my employer uses. Now over 300 dollars in overdraft fees I regret it !!!!They told me that this overdraft consent thing was on , so I turned it off. Only to find out that it never processed as off! So all of my debit subscriptions went through! Typically at my previous banks they would just be placed on hold till my paycheck hit. Not this bank !!! I also would deposit funds in my account to cover the negative balance only to be told that those deposits were pending so they didn't really make my balance positive till the next day so I was charged overdraft fees anyway! I've been charged 13 overdraft fees since November 1st. I've put over 400 $ into my account and it's still somehow negative 350$ !!!!DO NOT USE THIS BANK!!!

Very poor customer service. I’ve had an account with key bank for 5+ years. My account was inactive for a couple months since I had no use for it at the time, so they closed my account. After 3 separate attempts talking to the guys at this branch, they will still not re open my account after telling me they could definitely re open it for me. I was told I’d be given a follow up call twice, and never received my follow up call either time. I literally wrote all my info on a stickey note for the guy but somehow still can’t remember. This is a very crucial part in customer service especially with banking. There is no outstanding balance with my account. Instead of leaving me waiting for a week and giving me the same “we’ll get back to you” response, just give me a straight forward answer as to when or why you can’t open my account. Huge waste of my time. No wonder they only have 3 stars at this branch Lol. I’m not even interested in opening my account anymore I just figured the owner should know how his employees are doing… Very low motivation.

Extremely friendly staff at this bank that are super helpful. Plenty of parking and never seems to be too busy with easy access off of 172nd

There's always homeless people/addicts loitering near ATM. Not a safe place to use the ATM, people have been robbed there before.

Be careful here. They refused to let me withdraw funds hear from my account. Thankfully, the gentleman here knows FDIC exists and he called me to release my hard earned money otherwise it would be a one.

Rude bankers who dont seem to understand their own banking practices.Update: It's been 23 days and I'm still waiting for my debit card. 1st time I requested over the phone the representative sent it to an address I never heard of, 2nd time I requested it in the branch by a banker the banker sent it to the banks address not the PO Box so they couldn't receive it and now 3rd time it's been requested this morning by a new banker who promised to waive the fee to get it expedited to the correct address/PO box. Least to say I'm not keeping my hopes up.

Amanda helped me with my issue which I am very grateful. She was professional, friendly, helpful and understanding. Every staff that I have encountered are wonderful at the Arlington location.

I wanted to single out the above and beyond customer service experience I had from Amanda at the Smokey Point branch location since I was forced to leave the first negative review of my life for the Granite Falls branch manager Dan Emmons as a sad but vital warning to others especially the large senior citizen community that resides in that area.... I didn't want KeyBank to paint the picture that other KeyBank employees treat people the way Dan Emmons does... If it wasn't for Amanda and her amazing customer service skills I had been ready to leave KeyBank entirely after having an account at my home town branch for over 25 years because of the branch manager in Granite Falls Dan Emmons refused on multiple occasions to so much as cancel & reissue a compromised debit card and consequently led to the very center of what became an extensive identity theft case which should have been entirely avoided except for his direct refusal of basic services to a senior citizen.... So needless to say I was ready to leave the KeyBank institution as a whole after all of that especially since to took me having to step in and go up all the way through the ranks to the executive branch just to be able resolve the full extensiveness of that identity theft case which should and could have been entirely if Dan Emmons the granite falls branch manager had so much as simply cancelled and reissued the compromised debit card the first time he was made aware of it.... So I went the 18 miles to a more populated area and another branch office with the intent to completely ready to throw in the towel when I get Amanda at the Smokey point location who not only helped me set up and take care of all my banking needs for my mother but recognized us and called us by name even though it has been quite some time since she worked out of our hometown branch. Amanda was more than awesome!!!! She helped assure me that KeyBank as a whole didn't want their senior customers treated the way my mother had been by Dan Emmons. Amanda and people like her is the only reason I stayed with KeyBank. She even took the time to call back to let me know what the follow up was even though she had no obligation to personally help ensure that things continued to run smoothly.... As sad as I am that the local branch in my own small town has come to a point where seniors don't feel safe to do their banking there it warms the heart to know that employees like Amanda at the Smokey Point branch of KeyBank make that institution still worth doing business with.... I hope that employees like Amanda will help balance out the blot one poor manager is making on what has otherwise been a reliable institution over the many years I have done business with them. I can't say enough good things about the customer service experience Amanda and the Smokey point branch provides!
