“I love this store. I've been shopping here for years. The veggies and tofu variety are top notch. The owners are super friendly and always remember me even when I've been away for several months at a time. 100 percent recommend.”
“Walked in to purchase k-cup coffee, sales attendant Chevelle was very polite and attentive to her surroundings.
After working for years in both household goods and gas sales, I have learned what to be alert for. This person deserves a raise.
The store is clean, everything is organized well. There are always carts to use, but most of all, the place is kept safe.”
“This is my favorite stop for all things, groceries and gas. The staff is always so friendly and the location is clean and well stocked.Recently they blew my mind, when I accidently left my wallet and Margie reached out by phone and Facebook to get it back to me. :-) happy customer..”
“Good selection for a small footprint. They had golden pomfret which was my main objective. Was hoping to find some desert items as well but there wasn't much aside from ice cream. Fair prices.”
“Ok, this store is one of my favorites ☆☆☆☆☆, for certain items, paper plates and such. Best frozen chicken wings, so plump, perfect.. meat dept is c c cold so dress downy for that one. If you do the Costco, you truly should check out CHEF'STORE !!!!It like a mini, what I said b4...Just do the Cruz down their isles!”

A lot of things are literally half the price of other Olympia groceries, and most stuff is about 20% less. (2) Best bulk food selection around. (3) Extremely good produce selection. However, there are some warnings: (1) Everybody knows about this place so it's typically very crowded from 9 am to 7 pm, including long waits at the checkout. Go early or go late. (2) No credit cards. Cash or debit. (3) Buy meat a block east of here, at Gibson's Custom Meats.”
“The store is smaller in size but it's got everything you need and they are open until 1 am. The donuts are fantastic and always taste fresh. ? My one critique is the layout of this store is quite odd, when you enter in the building through the front door your instantly feeling cramped and you must avoid the center display if you want to make it through the front to get shopping”
“Best burgers ever. Yum. I don't like burgers out as a general rule but these are close to home-made. And lots of fun toppings to chose from. Other interesting sandwiches on the menu including fried baloney.”
“Market square is a conglomerate of different stores and shops. It's a good one though...Albertsons, fed ex, laundry mat, Papa John's, dairy queen, KFC, a sub shoppe, a manicurist shoppe, and an empty, now defunct, izzys”
“Stop in to fill your coffee cup and your heart. Just stopped by and the two people working there just made my day!I believe that people are brought into your life, even if just for a brief moment, for a reason.”
“Love this little place. The Only place around when you need a cold drink. Or are camping and need some essentials. They even sell gas. Probably the last place to turn on your pump with a quick wave and a smile instead of making you prepay.”
“Cleanest and most organized shoppette Ive been to with a connecting Subway that opens at 8. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Best time to go is morning because they have more options of hot to go food.”

So many fond memories and the staff was always very friendly with the neighborhood kids. We were never dismissed as being "just kids". We were treated like valuable customers like the adults. I remember taking my chores money and riding my bike (I lived in the house next to FBC Lacey) to buy the stick Jolly Ranchers and Air Heads for around $0.05-0.10 a piece. It was always a place my friends and I would walk/ride to to get some candy.I remember in 5th grade buying a whole bunch of candy for an in-class store that we had several times a year (if you were in Mrs. Morey's 5th grade class, you know what I'm talking about). Last time I was in the PNW for business I, unfortunately, didn't have time to visit my childhood store. Maybe one day I'll get that chance again--although I doubt I can get the Jolly Ranchers and Air Heads for the same price. LOLThank you for so many fond childhood memories!”

“This is our local supermarket and We were absolutely saddened & disgusted on Thanksgiving 2023!!!I can't believe that corporate Safeway would be open with "regular" hours today. Absolutely horrible for their image and worse for the poor employees that cannot even spend THIS day with their own families. Even trying to say they get overtime pay is Not an excuse. They should have closed about 2pm give us a break Safeway.”

“I'm a local that has visited this store almost daily for the past 7 years. It just recently acquired new owners that are over the top friendly. Very clean inviorment, fresh hot food always stocked up. As an outspoken person that I am, I suggested a few items I would to see in the store. Within a week it's in the cooler or the shelf. That's awsome!. Im sure most of us locals would agree. Thanks guys.”
