While returning to the state to visit family we spent a few nights in Anacortes. The owner was extremely welcoming, allowing us time to shop while sharing a TON of locals knowledge and recommendations. My son received a 4ocean bracelet after chatting about sea life and orcas… the warm hospitality paired with the quaint vibes was the perfect way to get acquainted with the community! I fell in love with the nautical coordinates long sleeve (and two unique chairs not for sale lol), overall the boutique storefront is visually appealing and everything you’d expect from a seaside boutique.

I was so disappointed with my experience at Tides. I have been looking online for my favorite brand of bags/purses: HOBO. When I saw that Tides carried this line, I was excited to shop locally. I moved to Anacortes about a year ago, and this was my first experience. I bought the purse on a Saturday. The woman who helped me was wonderful, and I decided to buy the bag and take it home to try on before leaving on a trip. As soon as I got home, I realized the color wasn't going to work. Tides is closed Sunday, so I went in on Monday to return my bag. The woman working at the counter informed me that Tides does not allow returns other than for store credit. I explained that it was just purchased and not used. She pointed to my receipt which outlined their policy. If there were signs posted in the store, I sure didn't see them when I made the purchase nor was this policy explained to me prior to the sale. I asked to speak to the owner who came out to talk to me and said, "We wouldn't be in business if we accepted returns." While I will return to spend my $300 credit, I definitely would not recommend shopping in this store.

Great staff who are extremely helpful. We had to ezchange something we bought as it was the wrong size. It was exchanged with no problems we were so relieved that we brought it back within the 30 day return window!

.. or for that matter an Any Season of the Year a treasure to experience Tides in Anacortes.
Make Tides a destination then visit the rest of Anacortes’ wonderful restaurants and places to hike.
The people make Anacortes a very special place! Tides is no exception.
Thank you for a great autumn experience. I’ll enjoy my found treasure for many years.

Fun friendly upbeat staff that is eager to helpFound these boots with the help of some ladies and they are just what I needed to put some sass in the day! You'll find great quality shoes and handbags as well as clothing. Enjoy your trip!

This is fabulous boutique women's clothing shop that offers a combination of classic and fashionable trends. Their inventory offers outstanding value and quality products.I've found countless unique gifts at Tides regularly.I prefer shopping locally to support community. The added value is Tides lines never disappoint.

Husband surprised me by meeting me after work to take me out to a nice dinner but didn't think that I was still in my work uniform and wasn't really dressed for the part ?
Home is 35 minutes away so he told me to rum in and find an outfit that would work.
The clothing is absolutely adorable with a large selection and the pricing quite fair for a quality boutique.
The ladies were very helpful in helping me put together something that would work and fit my budget even helping to peruse the clearance rack.
I highly recommend this store and will be back next time I need a special event outfit.

Exceptional! The service was above and beyond (thank you Suzanne) and the clothes are fabulous in both style and in quality. I am not usually a huge fan of shopping, but this experience was very rewarding and actually fun!
