As a frequent visitor of Predecessor's I appreciate the varied selection and love the joy of the hunt. The store has second hand, some vintage and lots of more recent items. Unfortunately they have a new pricing system that reflects a high end retail establishment. I have been noticing how items sit week after week now. I have even seen the price point raised after an original listing. Not as fun as it used to be.

Always a treasure to be found!! I appreciate the no fuss setting of the place....prices vary between "what a deal!!" and "what are they thinking??" But ya gotta love it. Two thumbs up.... I go every week and always enjoy the trip and the treasure. The inventory is ever changing and often unusual....it's what keeps me coming back...along with the great staff.

The Mercantile was legendary, but this version is a little less appealing. Set in a warehouse, crammed full of things that are not often priced and the rest seems a bit overpriced. It can be difficult to maneuver through the aisles especially now when you are trying to socially distance yourself. The staff can be friendly and helpful at times, but also a tad cliquish and much friendlier to certain customers. The biggest downfall is the clientele that can be a little pushy.

Whether you have things to sell or are looking for an unusual find, you will love the staff in this store! I stop by the store often and always find great bargains from almost new small appliances to antiques to mid-century retro. Love it?

I go every month to upgrade my apartment. I’ve purchased beautiful lamps, teakwood furniture, and hand woven blanks. They also picked up my outgrown furniture too! They have beautiful worldly collections and one of a kind items that I can afford on a low income. Check it out, and get there early!!!
