Wonderful kind staff with a great beer selection, yummy sandwiches, muffins, hot food in the AM, coffee, cocoa, and every household essential. They do it all there with good prices, great service, and anything you could need.

I had to respond after seeing post accusing lack of professionalism. I've been going here for years and the owners/staff show the highest degree of professionalism and friendliness. They have also become friends because of that.

Tucked down in the Skyline neighborhood, this is a spot to grab a snack, beverages, etc.They have a large selection of beers and wine.Convenient to the ferry and WA park.

Be forewarned this place is not actually a deli like the name suggests. It is a convenience store that has a small selection hot food like chicken tenders, etc.

The Owner is extreamly unprofessional. My family and I took a day trip and stop to grabbed a few coffees and we will never come back and vist that corner store again!

I went in to Old Salts, a place I have shopped many times before.... They have a good selection of things and are the last stop if you are going out to the smaller San Juan Islands. I was specifically looking for my father's favorite ice cream flavor and this is the only place in Anacortes that carries this brand. However, I was treated SO rudely that I would NEVER go back there and certainly recommend that no one shop there. My father went in slightly ahead of me as I had forgotten my mask. I am not sure the clerk understood we were together. So my dad goes to pay for his item as I am digging carefully through the 1/2 gallons of ice cream (as the other clerk had told me that they do get my father's flavor but only 2 at a time). I am not making any mess, not removing the ice cream from the freezer, simply looking as they are 3 or 4 deep. On the bottom layer there were a couple flavors I hadn't seen on top. The young man working there comes over after he had rung up my dad and asked "Can I help you?", and foolishly , I thought he wondered if I needed help. I told him I was just looking for a specific flavor. He said, "Well every layer is the same[totally NOT true] and you need to stop. You are making a mess of my system. You don't look like you need any ice cream anyway." Full disclosure, I am a larger woman who was just trying to do something nice for my 77year old dad as my mom JUST died of Alzheimer's.! These are the kind of people you would be giving your money to if you want to shop there. I don't think this is the owner and I feel like they deserve to know how they are being represented. This occurred at apx. 3:35-3:45 February 10. So I just said he ought to make a sign if you aren't allowed to move the ice cream and left. I was going to buy just plain vanilla and some milk and fix a flat... but I just left.

Very friendly and reliable staff. The store has nearly every essential item you can think of and if you can't find it just ask or call ahead. The convenience of the location for local households is remarkable. So nice not to have to battle the busy grocery stores when all you need is one or two things! My husband and I love old salts!

We stopped in here during a three day kayak paddle from Camano Island to Friday Harbor. We were pretty exhausted, thirsty, and really hungry. There was hot food and cold beer. The employees were incredibly nice and helpful.

Super convenient. They have dang near anything you could need. Don't see it? Just ask. They probably got it. They have fair prices, friendly staff and great hours! They don't bat an eye when I walk in looking like I just crawled out of bed, because often that is the case-- especially when I don't feel up to the war of shopping at Safeway and just need a few things to get by. Thank you Old Salts! You are appreciated!

I love this Market I literally go everyday! Wonderful owner as well as employees! They accept Apple Pay which is super convenient, great place to go for friendly service!
