Maggie and Herold helped me to get my 6 years old Porsche spark plugs replaced with reasonable price. Not everyone has the equipment and the will to deal with this kind of car. Herold can take on the challenge to deal with it. It saves me money and time to replaced them at Lynwood. Even though it is tough to get on their schedule, it was worth it to wait for a month. It is a worth-trusty family run auto shop. I will definitely go back if I need any work that needs to be done again.

Harold has worked on a couple of my Mercedes in the past and has always been stellar in his work with solving the issues with my vehicles. He is a straight forward, no nonsense, old school masterful mechanic and is more than fair. A pleasure to work with him every time. I highly recommend Island Import Garage.

We have been customers at Island Import Garage since 2007. We have had our Mercedes, Mini Countryman, and Subaru serviced by Harold. Harold is the best and he is honest. Maggie (front office) is wonderful!

Just watched this man shout at two ladies who were forced to park in his lot due to heavy construction across the street,. I could hear him shouting through my car windows and over traffic noise. Welcome to Anacortes. He threatened to charge them with trespassing and wrote down their lic. Plate numbers. Given the situation a little compassion or patience would have been more professional.

I want to thank Island Imports for your excellent service today. I will never take my car to anyone else. I had an issue with my Mercedes today and even though they are booked out for weeks, they kindly took the time to fix my issue! I explained my problem over the phone and let them know I was afraid to take it on the freeway tomorrow. Not only were they gracious with their time and understanding but took the time to show me some important things I needed to know about my car! I am so grateful we have this little gem of a business in our town. Also, I was extremely grateful for the fair and honest price. Wonderful couple

I highly recommend Island Import Garage. My car broke down coming into Anacortes for a week long trip. Despite a full schedule they fit me in and Maggie recommended some good places to take my 7 year old. We were able to have a good camping trip and Harold and his crew had the car running by the time we were scheduled to leave and for a very reasonable price! Thank you Harold and Maggie and everyone at Island Import Garage!

I brought in an older vehicle. Was told in a less than professional way that it is morally reprehensible to drive a vehicle with such an oil leak. The owner himself compared my vehicle to the Exxon Valdez in quite a snide manner. When asked about the other known issues that I brought the vehicle in for it was abundantly clear that they had no interest in working on my vehicle. And after being quoted ridiculously high price for a complete overhaul and a higher than necessary price just to get the vehicle road worthy again I decided to take my business elsewhere. This is where the "real" customer service kicked in. Frustrated at this point we returned to claim our vehicle, and was told that the paperwork had not been drawn up yet and that we couldn't take our vehicle back. When asked how long it would take to draw up the paperwork to make a payment and get our keys back we were instructed to"take a drive around the block". After some exciting back and forth over the phone and in person we were ultimately told to f*** off by the office manager. Who then vebally harassed a random bystander walking by. 10 minutes later we received notification that the paperwork was ready and that we could come pick up our vehicle. Not a really good experience. I brought my car in to have a sheared off Bolt replaced and they refused to help me because my car was modified. I think they should have been upfront with me and told me that they don't work on modified cars at all. That would have saved me a lot of time and hassle with the whole experience.

Took my BMW i3 to Island Garage for some basic computer maintenance & oil change. Even though the car is electric it’s got an extender gas engine and needs to have an oil change every once in a while. They completed all the maintenance, reset the computer system and cleaned the car out completely. The communication and experience was excellent. I would definitely consider taking other imports there first rather than dealer.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Was told my transmission needed rebuilding to the tune of 6,000.00. Took my car to a different mechanic who said the only thing wrong was the car was 3 quarts low in transmission fluid!! And now it’s running great b
