The reviews worried me a little but the place worked well for us. They were very nice and the location is perfect. Yes, it’s outdated and a little dirty but it’s an old hotel and they seem to be doing thier best. The stove and refrigerator barely worked so don’t plan on cooking or trying to store perishable food for more than a day.

They need to buy new sheets. Sheets on bed were all pilly and felt like sandpaper. Very old.
Room was adequate but some things need repaired, refrigerator door, toilet that kept running, sheets that were old, bent window screen.

The "villa" smelled like BO and was not clean. Sugar ants all over in the kitchen. Also the furniture is all broken down and gross smelling. They put couch covers over the couches, which were still not that clean.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. The furniture was broken (beds leaning, table legs wobbly, couches were bulging and sunken, and there was pubic hair in the shower). And to top it off, the coffee machine just leaked all over the counter. And it was clear that happened repeatedly… and nobody who works there cared enough to fix it. This experience will go down in our family’s memory as the worst hotel we ever stayed at.

The structure is a little "dated" but the rooms are clean and overall welcoming

The rooms were dated and dirty. I had three rooms total. The carpet was gross in all three and the rooms smelled like mildew. The room we were in had a kitchen and it was gross at best (tin foil on burners, dirty toaster, nail polish on the furniture). It also had a Murphy bed which looked like it hadn’t had linens changed. There was a filthy couch taking up a large portion of the room, but I didn’t let anyone sit on it. The carpets had holes. The hotel only provides 2 towels for 4 people. The young man who checked us in was kind but the woman who was there later lacked customer service skills and was very put out by having to provide enough towels for people to shower. The young man is the only reason I gave it two stars. It’s close to everything, but so are the other hotels in Anacortes. I’d go elsewhere.

The absolute dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed with. The couch cover had crusted nastiness on it so we pulled them off and the couch was ripped up and the filling was everywhere. The list of horrible things is way too long to place here but when we brought it up with management, they just said there was nothing they could do but give us an email to corporate. It's sad because it could be a really cute hotel if properly managed.

It was great and Mike the manager, very professional & great service if you need anything!!!
Rooms: The rooms are clean but the bed wasn't very comfortable at all, the mattress were old...
Safety: Very safe!!!
Walkability: At the top of town so it takes a very long time to walk to the other end of town!!!

We had a wonderful overnight stay. From check in to check out, the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Our room was warm, clean and comfortable. And above all it was affordable! The hotels location was central and easy to navigate to/ from. It's on a quiet and safe street with wheel chair accessibility.I wish I took more photos to show how cute the hotel is! Big small town vibes.Rooms: The rooms and beds were comfortable and spacious.Safety: The hotel itself is on a quiet road with street access. Well lit and safe.Walkability: The hotel is a short walk from the downtown area and the coast. Beautiful houses and local sights could easily be walked/biked to.Food & drinks: The hotel itself has vending machines. There are also lots of local and chain food options in the area.

Great place to stay. Room was very clean and much bigger than I thought. Nice little kitchenette , fireplace and comfy bed! Check in was easy. Nice quiet little part of town. Lots of places to visit nearby. Love this place!

This hotel is disgusting and reeks of cigarettes in your room. The heater and fans are broken. The woman in the front lied to us when we brought her to our room to discuss the cigarette smoke situation. She pretended not to smell it and opened our window. This is a cheap hotel, but there are better hotels in Anacortes for the same price. I would recommend Fidalgo Country Inn if you want a cheap hotel that’s clean and has good customer service.
