I purchased $485 worth of merchandise from Master Garden Products and they charged me $489 for shipping. The items arrived via Fedex and they were fine. However, I received an invoice from Fedex for an additional $162. I called Master Garden Products and they were unwilling to help me. Terrible customer service. Terrible business practices. Buyer beware

Made an order for a grapevine fence. A few minutes later I realized I needed a much larger height. I called immediately and left a message even though t hey were open no one answered. I sent over 30 emails over a period of 2 weeks and they never answered any of them. I probably called at least as many times and never had the phone answered. They sent the original order immediatley and it took me 2 months to arrange for them tho take it back. In retail I would say that this place is a nightmare and their customer service is worse. Before I place an order with any company now I want to know who they are. What their service is like. I have actually turned them in to the BBB which is the only way I could a refund. The BBB got the refund for me. Watch out for these people.

Made an order for 8 willow planters- 4 square and 4 rectangular- also paid a huge 150$ shipping fee and waited and waited and waited.... Finally I called and spoke to a very disinterested woman who told me that the products were not only not available but she had no idea if they would ever be in stock again?!!! I asked her when were they going to inform me of this..answer "no idea...hahahaha" wow so funny! When i mentioned the website was still selling them.."yea that should be updated....SORRY" TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I realize that Covid has made people garden more and therefore purchase more gardening products but does this mean you can treat customers so badly- I guess so!

I purchased a seated cedar raised bed, 4'x12',2'H. The product arrived in good condition, and, it was very easy to assemble. I did take a year of time to do so as I wanted to coat it with many coats of Tung Oil in an attempt to make it last a very long time. All parts were there, had no issues assembling, very pleased. Quality product at an attractive price. I will likely purchase a second one, but I see they are out of stock at this time. No hurry. I had made one out of redwood 20 years ago, and I'd have to say this one is better than the one I built, which was surprising to me as mine were pretty nice!

I ordered 2 panels of flexible willow edging from their website, mastergardenproducts.com. One was flexible, the second was not flexible at all. I called the company to notify them that half the order was incorrect. They responded that they would not replace or refund their faulty product, but offered me to reorder at a discount and pay full shipping. Why would I do that? Clearly you only have a 50% chance of actually getting what you order!! Terrible customer service.

A month ago, I ordered a half circle tree bench advertised on their website. I didn't hear anything (no email, no phone call) for 3 weeks. So I sent them an email asking for status. No response. A week later, I got an email saying my order was being cancelled.

i ordered merchandise online (greengardendepot.com) from this company. what i received was not what i ordered. i attempted to return the items and they informed me they did not carry what they sold on their website. instead, they offered to give me 50% off my original total and keep the merchandise that i was sent. i agreed to it because the items were heavy and cumbersome to repackage and have it returned. It's been two weeks and i still have not received my refund and they are no longer responding to my emails. i would not recommend dealing with this company at all. also, i noticed that they have not corrected their website and are still selling the items that i purchased that they do not carry. BAD!
