I have been with Twinstar since I went to Aberdeen high school, since there's a mini branch inside of the high school. I haven't had any problems with them and there are so many branches around Washington. I'm planning on staying with them, and I love that I can customize my credit/debit cards.

I'd give 0 stars if I could. Save yourself the trouble go with Great northwest. Read the following and ill explain why. Ive waited several months after closing the twin star account before writing this review. Worst banking experience ever. They denied me a home loan I went got one someplace else. Afterward they asked me why I didn't go through them. REALLY not only that their over draft charges are crazy just to take money from your savings to cover your checking. Why am I paying a fee to use my own funds. Then I was pre approved for a car loan 7 percent interest not good but I went for it. Denied. Great northwest approved me with a 4 percent interest rate. I didn't even bank there. But I do now. Go with great northwest. 0 fees so far unlimited overdraft protection as long as you have the money In Your savings that's the best bank ever.

I went in to open a checking account, and spent an hour and a half talking and getting it set up only to be told at the end I am unable to do so because I had too many credit inquiries. Was told to wait 6 months before trying with them again. I explained why there were many credit inquiries (was laptop shopping had 3 recent pulls) I was in good current standing with my creditors, and already have a checking and savings open. I just need a local bank I can deposit tips. Everywhere I look I cant find a reason why my credit halted my account opening process. Being asked to wait 6 months? No thank you. The customer service was fine but an hour and a half of my time was taken when any online bank would have me verified and ready to go within 30 minutes. Its dissapointing to see that outside of cash deposits banks sticking to their old ways are going to make them obsolete.

I traveled to Aberdeen to settle my mom's estate and the folks at this branch made it so easy I couldn't believe it. Brenda and Breanne were especially helpful. I opened an account there simply because of them.

“Go do it yourself.” Can’t even assist with a wire transfer. Why do I even have an account here?

I called in to find a shared credit union and Porscha was very helpful. They don't have shared branches which was why I took off 1 star.

This new system they just put in is the WORST system I have ever seen in all the years I have had accounts in a bank. I am checking out other banks and credit unions. I have never hated a system as much as I hate this one. I would give this a -0 if I could.

Would not let my elderly mom in to do her banking was told to use the drive thru. She told them she can not reach their response was she could walk thru. If you are opening an acct or want a loan then you can go in. Way to take care of our elderly and your customers. My mom is 75 and walks with a cane. Shame on Twin Star. We are in phase 2.

I was trying to get a car loan with large downpayment with rebuilding credit. All other financial Institutions didnt go below 12%. Twinstar with no account offered 5%. Then before I even mad first payment the dropped the interest rate a little more. Great impression.

Got a car loan from them. Made the mistake of not turning on my insurance until 14 days later... they charged me a $800 fine and increased my monthly payment by $145 with no way to change it even though I now have insurance. It will basically cost my double for the vehicle. Needless to say, I'm refinancing with another bank, closing my accounts and dumping these robbers.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I switched to them with this false sense of them being a decent bank. WRONG. Customer service is awful at all of their locations. They aren't straight forward with their policies at all and put your money "on hold" for weeks on end and if you question it, you get a snotty answer about how you had other banking options. Having my identity stolen and dealing with fraud was easier than using this bank. Save yourself the headache and find a better bank.
