Haven't used their pharmacy so can't comment on that. As a store their prices are higher than I was expecting. Stopped by for some gauze to wrap an open wound. Had to come back a few times to find what I wanted because shelves were not well stocked. Ended up finding what I needed but later found it cheaper at Walmart. Cashier was slow but got the job done. The location and parking situation are very weird and confusing. Like most places in Aberdeen either there is not enough Handicap parking or too many people using it who shouldn't be because it never seems to be open. If I hadn't been living in this city for awhile I wouldn't have been able to get to it - it's surrounded by one way streets so getting in and out is kind of a nightmare.

This store has provided me with the absolute worst customer service experience I've ever had in my life. I had some time to kill while my husband was at an appointment so I decided to spend the time at rite aid looking through their makeup selection. First of all, the makeup selection is absolutely pathetic. It was so picked over in many brands there wasn't any selection of concealer or foundation for white women (which is the vast majority in the area). As soon as I entered the store an employee posted herself right next to me acting like she was working but she must have had suspected me of stealing due to the way I look (I choose to color my hair bright, fun colors & have visible tattoos). In my opinion, & I would think most would agree, this is completely inappropriate & wrong. There should be no bias in dealing with customers due to their outward appearance. After about a half hour of this harassment (remember I was killing time) a second, even ruder employee came over and actually stood in my way of viewing the products. She began to make judgemental remarks under her breath until she finally said she was going to call the police department because I had spent what she viewed as too much time in the store. She never asked the reason for my long visit (although it would have been none of her business.) I would have liked to stay to address the police & this completely unfair, humiliating treatment but it was extremely humiliating & I couldn't subject myself to any more abuse. I plan on going back to the store today to get the employees name & if the situation is handled as it should her job as well. I am very aware there is a shoplifting issue in Aberdeen, as there is most places, but that doesn't give anyone an excuse to be abusive & rude to customers. I will never visit this store again except to take action about this issue & I recommend everyone do the same. The customer service is the absolute worst I've ever received in my life & the store should be closed down & the employee shouldn't be allowed to interact with anyone until she learns common decency & respect. Honestly, if it was an option to give zero stars or even negative stars I would in a heartbeat. I will also be following up on my concerns with corporate as I want to do anything I can to prevent another customer from having a horrible experience like I did.

I would probably give less than a star if it was possible, but it’s not and there are a few good people that try hard at this pharmacy. They have nothing but issues! I have almost given up on them numerous times, but I haven’t yet. I thought it was possibly COVID, but out of the 99 people who rated this place they average a 2.7 star! That is less than a 50% approval rating by a hundred different people that took the time to rate these guys! It’s pretty sad if you ask me!Something needs to change! Something drastic needs to happen before you guys end up out of business because of the horrible service! Good luck trying to get someone to answer the phone if you must call a few times within a certain amount of time because of a condition at the time and they recognize your phone number and do not want to deal with you!Just horrible customer service for the most part! Thank you to the ones who have went above and beyond to help me, but for the most part it isn’t a pleasant experience! The lady who answered at the Hoquiam RiteAid was even worse! This lady lied to me, was very very rude and then hung up on me! This company is barely staying afloat! It seems like they would do everything they can to turn this around, but it seems to keep getting worse for some reason!I hope this changes soon because there is a lot of potential!

Get your prescription anywhere but here. Three times now, I've gone to the drive thru for Rx pickup and sat there for 20 minutes and was never greeted. This last time, I called the store and asked why no one had helped me or the other four cars waiting in line. I was told they didn't have the staffing currently to run the drive thru so to come inside. There were no signs or cones put out, indicating the drive thru was closed. I went inside and observed five employees in the pharmacy and nobody standing in line (doesnt seem under staffed to me). One week later, I selected online to have a different medication shipped to my house. I repeatedly got text messages to pickup my prescription or it would be put back on the shelf. After 5 days, I called and asked if it had been shipped. I was told it had not and to come pick it up in store. Finally, with my most recent medication, my doctor prescribed the name brand version. Rite Aid sent me a text saying it was out of stock and they were ordering it. After 2 weeks passed, I called in to check the status and was told it was still unavailable. Another week went by. I called again and asked what the status was. I was told the generic brand was unavailable anywhere on their ordering system. I asked about the name brand option and mysteriously, it was available! Considering this is only a $20 difference on my co pay, I'm pretty irritated I wasn't given all my options for a medication I really needed.

Always short staffed, not exactly their fault although they don’t treat their employees well enough for them to want to work or stay at work. They’re always backed up, and even if they aren’t the service is slow. They are always INCREDIBLY rude for no reason, and will cut you off when you speak or even hang up on you on the phone at any moment. The older female pharmacist here is extremely rude and demeaning to everyone; I’ve even witnessed her talking down to staff.TO ALL OF THE POLITE WORKERS at Rite Aid. You guys rock. I don’t know how you continue to do well in this environment, but Godspeed to you for that. Keep doing your thing, but screw your boss.

Pharmacy calls and tells me my rx are ready. I've been sitting at the window for 20 minutes and still no rx. They actually told me to get out of line and go the end so it will be ready after the line.

This location often has empty shelves. Not sure why, it's been that way for a long time.

Rude & no customer service what’s so ever! City Drug never gave rude answers and if they needed a doctors confirmation they didn’t say Sorry not our problem it’s your doctors! That’s not an acceptable Your Pharmacy is rude & needs to have a Sensitivity Training.

Always friendly for the front end staff. Short staffed but definitely friendly.Edit.... I take it back. Front end gal wouldnt get off her cellphone from sharing lovey lovey comments long enough to help me. Didnt talk to me once. Store is in chaos. Sone of the Pharmacy people are rude and inconsiderate. (Heard them talking/giggling about another patients (by name) meds and how stupid the patient was. ) I'll never go back there again. Sad considering I spend quite a bit there every month.

Do not be surprised at this low score. The only reason this pharmacy is still in business is because there is nothing else around. I loved the customer service at the regular checkout The older lady was in a great mood and friendly. We had a great conversation about our vaccines. I had a terrible experience getting my 4 vaccines in one day. I got my pneumonia, shingles, covid, and flu shot. I made my vaccine appointment 3 weeks early. I arrived 10 minutes early. I waited 30 minutes. The senior person giving the vaccine was racist to say the least. I was born and raised in the US. The lady begrudgingly gave me my vaccines. She inquired about origins and how long I had been visiting the US. She didn't say these things in a nice way. It was quite condescending. She was also not exactly gentle. I was very accommodating and friendly despite the racist questions. I do not have an accent. This was brutal. I forgave her ignorance due to her age. Sometimes, you just move on and don't make a fuss. It requires more energy than I have to give to this kind of ignorance. To add insult to injury, she never documented my vaccines. She may as well have given me something else. These vaccines never made it to my records. I do not have any proof that they were completed. I have reached out to corporate for these records. I had 2 weeks of severe dehydration from diarrhea and vomiting after these vaccines.. whatever they were, I had to seek emergency care. Please be white when coming here if you want great service from the pharmacy staff. Otherwise.. do it at your own risk. The pharmacy lines were about 10 people deep while I waited for my vaccines. They were busy and moving very slow. I understand slow coming from Ocean Shores. However, Ocean Shores people are very friendly in comparison to Aberdeen.

Pharmacist Huey is a life saver. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, kept calm and relaxed when I got a little bit anxious about a hiccup getting my meds refilled. I appreciate the kindness.

On 6-23-24 I spent the night in the ER with severe stomache pains I am a tribal member my insurance paid for the emergency room visit and my prescription all I had to pay for was gas $30 each way =$60 I thought maybe indigestion at first after a day n a half I knew it was a little more serious , I left the hospital around 630 am n had 2 1/2 to wait for pharmacy to open , I went to rite aid in Aberdeen at 9 am n was told it was gonna be a minute " can u come back in a hour and a half . ? I did when I went back the girl couldn't find anything on computer n asked me to wait while she checked with pharmacist the pharmacist then told me that she had deleted it because I could buy it over the counter . That it was a ridiculous price for my insurance to hafta pay when I could just buy it for $14 , unfortunately I had spent all my $ on gas just to get to the hospital my tribe paid $1,220 for the visit had I known that I needed an acid reducer I probably would have just went to the store n bought it , but I didn't know exactly why my chest was hurting so badly , found out at hospital that I have a tumor in my stomache and pepsid ac is what the Dr prescribed not to treat the ulcer but to reduce the acid in my stomache and soothe my pain , I went home without the medicine , and it continued to hurt even worse all day I suffered the pain hurt so bad it hurt so bad I couldn't sit still finally I called a friend who lives in Westport and asked him if he could help me out He drove 2 hours spent another $60 on gas n got me 2 bottles of pepsid ac =$30 so $ 120 altogether on gas $30 for the medicine and $1,220 for the ER =$1,370 is what it costed for me to get what I needed to feel better how and why did this woman interfere did she have the right to cancel my prescription , I suffered in pain for almost 2 days after it costed my tribe $1,220 for me to see a Dr. I just wanna say to her , things aren't always as they appear , and it costed alot more than $14 and wasted 6-8 hours of my time the doctors time my friends timer the person who drove me to the hospital and I suffered for almost 48 hours after I should have picked up my prescription because she thought it was a ridicoulas price for MY INSURANCE to hafta pay! As if it should be any of her concern this place definitely a minus 5 * terrible customer service , and why does she think it was ok to cancel something prescribed by a doctor? How is it any of her concern ? How much my insurance is paying and does she do this often? Does she know better than a doctor? And maybe she should consider the results of her actions because if she did this to someone who needed there medication to survive it could be life or death
