My 02 Silverado 4x4 was slipping because my torque converter was toast. local transmission shop quoted me $1,975 to replace the torque converter $250 part and to go through my valve body. The same shop was 3 months out. Frank hooked me up with a remanfactured transmission and an upgraded torque converter for close to the same price of the Tranny shop and I only had to wait 3 weeks. Not 3 months.
