A repair that I had done at Five Star was not done well and trying to get the issue resolved has been ridiculous. Overall the customer service I have received around this issue from Five Star has been sub par and if I could give less than one star I would.

ZERO STARS WHATEVER YOU DO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! We are from out of town and my husband got there for an 8:30 am appt to have a check engine light looked at. He was told it would be $168 and may take 4 hrs. He was told 2 hrs in they needed a couple more hrs. He was then told after a few more hrs they had a couple more codes to clear and it might be the catalytic converter. They didn't finish until 4pm and they said it was NOTHING just cleared codes then proceeded to charge us $650!We called another dealership we normally deal with to see if this is normal and they said that was pretty expensive for just code work. Oh they said they tried calling our extended warranty co. but they couldn't get through but our warranty needs approval before doing any work.....

I not like how you ripped us off. We're you charged us 700 for a starter when they are $150 to $300 and how you charged me over $1000 in labor when you had our car for over a week and half. I can't believe you can sleep at night knowing you rip people off.

Don’t put any trust in them!! Their sales guys will lie to you and say absolutely anything to sell you a car and won’t keep their word afterwards! Unless they make it right I won’t ever spend another dime there. Only had the car 10 months with extra warranty that would cover everything according to their sales staff. Apparently “everything” means something different in the Five Star world!

Bought a 2023 Bolt EUV from Five Star Chevrolet in early March--they are the best car dealership I've dealt with. They are the only dealer I could find that sold Bolts without additional markups or add-ons, plus they gave me much more for my trade-in than other dealers had offered. They also didn't require any deposit. Matt Johnson kept me posted on the status of the car as it was built and shipped, and he set up everything on the car quickly and efficiently. Matt was also very no-nonsense and responsive--so give him a call if you're looking for a new Chevy or Toyota. Allen Erickson was also a pleasure to deal with and facilitated a painless deal. It was also worth the drive from Kitsap County to Aberdeen since the sales tax rate is lower. I highly recommend them!BTW, no reflection on Five Star, but if you're thinking of buying a Bolt EV/EUV from anyone, I have one word--DON'T! The car threw a battery fault code the third time I started it (with less than 100 miles on it), and it's currently sitting in another dealership's service dept since neither the EV techs nor Chevrolet can figure out what's wrong with it. Plus, the Chevrolet EV concierge has been absolutely useless in providing transportation alternatives and answers to any of my questions. Be smarter than I was and buy a Toyota from Five Star instead!

This is a follow up to my previous review regarding a less than favorable visit to the Toyota Dealership in Aberdeen on November 10th this year. That earlier visit include an extensive and expensive service including replacing tires all around and some issues discovered the next couple of days involving damage to a rim and failed pressure sensor. Before I could get back to them the service manager, Jason contacted me about returning the vehicle to inspect they work. I took my Prius back in on December 1 and we reviewed my issues. Incidentally the Coffee machine was now repaired and available in the customer waiting area and I was impressed with the quality of the products available in the new automated coffee service. Anyway, as a result of our discussion Jason had the tires removed, all of the (very expensive) pressure sensors checked, the bad sensor identified and replaced for the cost of the replacement sensor only which was very helpful when you're retired and live on a fixed income. Thanks Jason and the Five Star Service Department.

I brought my Chevy Traverse to the Five Star service department due to pulling and a “crab-walk” feeling in the rear end. Five Star diagnosed a very costly leak in the differential and drive shaft. While there were some hiccups along the way with my extended warranty company and communication all around, Five Star was able to get my vehicle back to me with all approved repairs completed, at a minimal, highly discounted cost to me, thanks to Jayson Lockett!

Five Star Chevy went above and beyond during my car-buying process. They didn't hit me with any bogus fees, in fact, they charged me exactly MSRP for my new Colorado when every other dealership I called was charging anywhere between $2,000-$5,000 over MSRP. And Matt Johnson tried to get me every rebate possible. Right in the middle of the buying process, I had an unexpected emergency with a loved one and I wasn't sure how I could make the trip from Bellingham to Aberdeen. But without question, they delivered my new truck right to me for free. That's the kind of customer service that creates lifetime customers.

Chevy truck had a recall, and 5 Star quickly fit us in. The service was excellent and QUICK. We waited in the very comfortable waiting lounge, which has a free coffee machine, TV, lots of magazines (yeah!), and very comfortable chairs. The ladies' restroom was very clean, as was the dealership in general. The dealership is easy to get to, right off 101 through Aberdeen. There is a breakfast place close-by, and there is a little coffeeshop inside the Swanson's across the street. Very pleased with 5 Star.

Ordered a new vehicle working with Matt. Was told we could ordered a new RAV4 and that we would have the first right of refusal. The waiting period for a new car was going to be about 3 months. The vehicle arrived and we were not contacted and they sold the vehicle to another customer. Will not go back to Five Star.

The short story: terrible customer service and questionable competence. Should rename themselves to "One Star Motors".Had a problem with our vehicle and was advised that the steering gear assembly needed to be replaced. The service department was unable to obtain the part, so they gave me the part number so I could search for it myself. In my search I found the part in less than 15 minutes, but noticed there was also a "power steering assist motor" listed so I contacted the service department to ask if I needed that part as well. The service manager, Victor, told me yes, I should go ahead and buy it.So we take our vehicle in for service and give them both the parts, but the motor doesn't get used because there was ALREADY a motor included as part of the steering gear assembly. I'm not a mechanic. There's no reason I should have known that. But that's something the service manager should have known before recommending I buy the part. Now I have a $500 part I can't return because that retailer won't allow returns of electronic components, even unused. Given that I was told YES, buy this part, and then it was not needed, the right thing to do would be for the service manager to take responsibility for erroneously making that recommendation and buy the part from me. Instead, he blame shifts and tells me I should have known the steering gear assembly already had the motor on it, and refuses any sort of accountability.Additionally, every time we have work done there, there's something new wrong with the vehicle when we get it back. This time, there's a "power assist reduced drive with care" message that comes up every time the vehicle is started, as well as some electrical malfunctions that were not occurring prior to the repair of the steering assembly. Last time, they messed up the TPMS system, which luckily discount tire was able to fix without issue. And good luck getting them to fix anything they messed up, because they won't take accountability for that either, it's always just a coincidence.Take your money literally anywhere else, this place is awful.
