first off it's 24*F outside and unfortunately I'm in need of using a wheelchair it seems. it's 12:05am and I just wanted to call and ask the cashier if he wouldn't mind helping me exchange propane bottles as they do so I hit the call button and was simply amazed as I watch this guy make a quick escape from within the cashier's area I even waited until there was zero customers. this is the second time here on Boone st. the first cashier claimed he ouldn't find the keys. I never need worry if the cashier by the name of Corrie happens to be on this shift he is always welcoming and helpful. It's people like the first two who drive customers elsewhere. guess I'll head over to the Simpson 7/11 as I did last time I was ignored and the employee that night was excellent .

I've been coming to this store for around 10 yrs or so, mainly to buy lottery tickets once a week but, occasionally, to also get gas. In that time I've generally found the staff to be friendly and helpful (there ARE the occasional exceptions but, let's remember, we're talking about PEOPLE and anyone can have an "off" day or maybe they're just having a REALLY bad day. So I tend to give them the benefit of the doubt on the few times I've encountered a rude or discourteous clerk/employee). Over the years I, and sometimes my 2 daughters who're almost always with me, have made friends with some of the clerks there. One of them, Nancy, is our favorite. She is, in our humble opinion, just a real, all around sweet lady. If she sees me without my girls, she always asks about them and the few times she's seen my girls with my wife, instead of me, they tell me that she'll ask THEM about ME.That little extra touch of kindness is one of the reasons I continue coming back to this store and spending my money there. Oh, and my wife just LOVES their pizza (as do my girls)!! Lord only KNOWS how much of our $$ she's spent there JUST on their pizza slices, hahahaha!!! The store is usually relatively clean, along with their bathroom, and the clerks do a pretty good job of keeping the lines moving during the times when the store has high customer traffic yet all the while staying friendly and professional. I didnt catch the crew members name but she was super sweet,courteous and personable. Was sort of having a rough day and she chatted with, complimented me on my "90s Baby" face mask(even inquired on where to get one for herself lol) and had me laughing and smiling by time I left. She was super bubbly and way happier than some of the crew i have encountered on other visits.
