I’ve recently switched my three cats to another vet. I took two of my three cats here for years. The front desk staff is not friendly, appointment availability is terrible, and the wait time to check out is way too long for anxious pets.
Additionally, my newest cat went to the ER and was admitted for three days. The ER told me if she has any issues with using the bathroom or anything minor to see her vet.
A couple days later she wouldn’t use the restroom. When I called the vet to schedule an immediate appointment, they said they couldn’t see her for three weeks. Upon, making the appointment request over the phone, I let the young lady know she was recently in the ER, etc. She still said there was “no available appointments.”
I called another vet right away and they could see her the following day. Therefore, I called Yorktown animal hospital to tell them to transfer her records to salty paws since they would see her right away. However, when I asked for her records, all of a sudden Yorktown animal hospital could see her right away.
I’m certainly not one to leave bad reviews but this was completely wrong.

Amazing vet office! We have brought all 3 of our dogs and our cat here for 3 years and we wouldn't even think of using anyone else! They have always shown us and our animals the utmost care.

Dr. Wolf is the greatest Vet. He is thorough and is understanding in treating my Dogs. always is gentle in the treatments. My dog loves him and so do I.

Our pets have been patients of Drs. Wolfe and Gariboldi for the last 20 years. They have always been thoughtful, attentive, and gentle with our pets from early life through sad partings. The staff is also helpful and caring. We love YAH.

I moved back to Virginia in 2000, and found Yorktown Animal Hospital for my beloved kitty Tootsie. Three cats and 24 years later I have complete confidence and trust in Dr Wolfe, Dr "G", and Dr Santiago. My feline son Fischer-Felix feels exactly the same.

My daughter takes her cat to Yorktown Animal Hospital and recommended their facility. I scheduled an appointment and Dr. Santiago answered all of my concerns and was great at easing my mind about my cat's health. Highly recommend!
